I'd love to see the club finally agree the stadium naming rights and release half of the revenue for immediate transfers. That could be about £150m in purchases for Pochettino to improve the team.

The only disappointing outlook is that all that money will go to simply replace the likes of Eriksen, Vertonghen, Rose etc. instead of having a quality XI and sprinkling some top quality

You can't ignore scouting young players completely. You still need to be on the look out for future talent it just needs to be combined well with purchases of higher quality who arguably are more obvious and need less scouting in person

----------------------------------------------------------------------They're not mutually exclusive though. This trip to Argentina doesn't meant we aren't focusing on first team players as well

We need players in that'll make an immediate impact. Especially replacing the inevitable loses we're expecting in the summer...

Plenty of good players in this country, that we continually miss out on, Madison , Wan Bissaka etc etc

£25m for Sessegnon is a potential steal.

£50m for AWB is absolute top whack especially when considering he’s been nowhere close to the top RBs this season.

For me he needs to drop all of Toby, Verts and Rose for the rest of season. They all clearly don’t want to be here and our defensive performances are showing it. Draft in Sanchez, Foyth and Sessegnon. We need a new defence in Jan, but for the time being those players can’t be any worse than the s** Rose, Toby and Verts are conjuring up

the fact that he is considerable upgrade on all 3 Right Backs we currently have at our club, is young with a huge amount of potential, I'd say it's a steal

playing devils advocate, i could argue we were rinsed on Sess seen as though he was poor in the prem last year, had 1 year left on his deal and was injured at the time of signing and continues to be injured

Don we aren’t getting a whole new defence in jan ffs be realistic.

Where has Verts said he don’t want to be here?

If we say put a defence out off say KWP Foyth Sanchez Sessegnon then we are completely finished this season.

Poor ffs

He had stats that stacked up against better players but was in a incredibly poor team.

Playing devil advocate AWB going forward had the same stats as kwp but with 30 extra appearances

Like I say not paying £50m for a player isn’t missing out.

And they are going to be any worse than the s^* we are seeing now ? 7-2 and 3-0 losses in our last 2 games ? I know it’s not ideal but yes I would like to see Rose etc all dropped. Vertonghen is clearly having issues aswell, that’s pretty crystal clear and his performances are showing it. We need a top class centre back in Jan and a new Right back. That’s not a whole new defence is it?
