this is really upsetting if true

at least 2 players please! just 2!

No point in Jose saying we have X amount of money to spend so potential clubs we are targeting for players raise their prices. At least I hope not.

Gonna be a dull mid term future I'm afraid. Pragmatic manager, too many sub par players & no money to invest. We aren't winning anything anytime soon, wont get relegated and are unlikely to make the Champs league..... Irrelevance beckons as will the eventual sale of Kane

Simple question did we really need to spend that much on a stadium that big ????

Did we really need to have the most expensive ground imaginable and the second biggest club ground in England ??? Surely a 50,000 Seat stadium at less of a cost would have made more sense ?

the worrying thing about this is that even if we we're to be able to get us 2 new players, I couldn't think of where those 2 players need to be brought into, such is the mess the playing squad is in

Right Back
Centre Back
Left Back
Defensive Midfield

maybe for instant impact, right back and defensive midfielder?

Dunno why some fans are so defensive about it but we are the new arsenal... There's no way to avoid it unless ENIC sell the club

i mean, whilst you may have a point

the fact the stadium is as great as it is means the foreseeable future is sorted in terms of income with so many options

- Concerts
- American Football
- Football
- Hospitality
- Tours

The list is almost literally endless

the biggest worry for me however, is I expect our board to be tight with transfer funds and wages for a loog long time, preferring to pocket profits for themselves

As someone pointed out... We haven't recouped any of the summer outlay and have now totally facked up with Eriksen, Toby, Jan & Rose's contracts. On Top of that we are paying Jose a facking fortune...... ZERO chance of new players this Jan

ZERO guarantee from the club that profits will be pumped back into the playing staff... This is a business who have has a long track record of being cheap

Look at why Poch was was so pi55ed.. He wanted Eriksen, Rose, Toby sold while they still had value. He could see the writing on the wall for Jan and possibly beyond (when eventually the club WILL sell Kane & Dele, Partly because they will want to leave for trophies and because they wont be able to turn down the money

NOTHING at spurs is about winning, its all abot making as much money for ENIC as possible. Anyone think they'll cut the season ticket prices when we are not in the CL next year...... No, me neither

Our skinflint owners will always be about `profit before glory` sadly.

ENIC OUT!

posted on 6/12/19

on the Grounds they are Champions elect and we are nothing morte than mid table plodders (granted with a nice stadium), Maybe Liverpool could loan us Harry Wilson when he's done at Bournemouth.... He's a fantastic little player..... Pi55es all over Winks

They play different positions. Wilson would be up against dele for his position

You can imagine there will be pressure coming in from other teams like Man United and Arsenal spending to try and get back into the top 4. And they're bound to spend before we do, if we spend at all.

Agree with this. Fans have to realise that ENIC are not pulling their weight. FFP would have allowed them to support the club better with stadium costs enabling club funds to go on squad investment. If you work out how much equity they have in terms of what the club is now valued at compared with what they have put in to hold shares, its peanuts!

there aer a lot of players whom pi55 all over a lot of our players

unacceptable how many average players we have in our team

i remember, 2-3 seasons ago, the majority of the current first team players were squad players we were all on here hoping to let go and improve upon so that the immense first team we had at the time would be battling for their places

those squad players who weren't good enough back then, are now our first team players

Obviously..... But there is no pressure for the owners as long as they continue to make money.... For them, Its not about the results on the field... Spurs will only do well in this current environment if other big clubs continue to fack up (Arsenal, United, Chelsea (to a lesser extent) Sadly now Chelsea have found their feet again and the likes of Leicester and Wolves have moved up into the top tier... They are MILES better than us as far as their football infrastructure is concerned

We have a great stadium but only 3 great players to Grace it (Kane, Dele & Son) same applies to the amazing training ground & youth set up..... except their are no young players coming through..... Its typical spurs.... its all style over substance.... stop being grateful to ownership for something that in reality doesn't matter to any of us. There is no bright future at Spurs, just a bigger ENIC bank balance

Totally agree on ENIC out, but unfortunately we're lumbered with them. We have gone fully Arsenal, a big new stadium which will generate enough cash for the owners even when champions league football is off the table.

Unfortunately us fans are the mugs. I put my Chelsea and Brighton tickets on the exchange the other night and they were both sold by lunchtime the next day. ENIC couldn't give two hoots about anything as long as the stadium is full, NFL games are going on and we stay in the premier league.

Pff

Guess that's that then. Spurs had the chance to break into the elite and they're gonna spaff it up the wall. United and Arsenal will only be gash for so long since they'll continue spending money. Spurs will sink back to 6th at best if they don't.
