Sometimes I get excited thinking about transfer dealings and who we might be linked to, and then I remember that Jose is our manager, and suddenly the excitement starts to fade. Anyone else get that?

I always had optimism with Poch, but with Mourinho you know it's only going to be short term with an unhappy ending. Makes it hard to fully invest in him or players we get while he's here if I'm honest.

They'd be decent enough signings. Not setting the world on fire but good prospects. Definitely want either of those over Willian.

I enjoy the highs of getting linked to the likes of Dybala, Moutinho, Hazard & Rivaldo

only to hit the lows when we actually sign the likes of Njie, Nkoudou, Postiga & Gilberto

Lets face until Kane goes we are not going to sign any up and coming decent striker.

Osimhen's agent over the weekend said he only wants his client to go somewhere where he he will play 1st team football.

We will have to make do with a combination of Kane, Son, Dele and Stevie B for the near future.

As well as the many positives of keeping Kane, many options will present themselves IF/When it comes to selling him.

I’d happily sell Moura and Lamela and sign Fraser on a free, then use that money to sign some good defenders or a striker.

Son on the left wing and Bergwijn on the right wing with Sessegnon and Fraser as back ups.

Watching the 2010 game vs Man City that got us into the CL (is on sky). What is noteworthy after 20 minutes is a) how bad we have been b) how anonymous Modric has been c) aside from set pieces (We are so dangerous) only Lennon Looks decent
