Let’s be honest here this thread only become useful due to me

I'd be really excited by Milik. Very good player who would offer genuine competition and would be much more than the 'back up' striker types that we've been linked with.

If we can get him in, that would cap off a fantastic window and I'm getting dangerously optimistic again.

id agree with this.

ive seen more of Milik than Skriniar (not much of either though) he's left footed too and can take a good set piece.

Yeah I have had always had a soft spot for Napoli so I watch a bit when I can. What I like about him is he scores quite a variety of goals - outside the box, headers, one on ones... he's not a one trick pony or a 'lump it to the target man' type.

26 means we'd hopefully get his peak years. His goal scoring record is decent without being exceptional, but he's a good all round footballer - not like someone like Javier hernandez who scored goals but offered nothing else.

I think he'd really improve the team.

EFL confirm Spurs have been given a bye to Carabao Cup 4th round vs Chelsea next Tuesday after Orient were unable to play 3rd round on this wk due to a coronavirus outbreak.

Feel sorry for LO but great to get the game out the way. Tuesday is a big game. Win vs Newcastle and then Chelsea and that momentum could be just what we need.

I know we've had a good window so far, but I must say with all these fixtures, to not have another striker is a joke. We looked fairly impotent up front last night until we made the changes.

Tbh the league cup is quite the irrelevant trophy now due to the money being cut and no Europa place awarded.

I really wouldn’t mind throwing the competition so we can concentrate on the Europa qualifier

I agree it's the least of our priorities but the money and no Europa place are kind of irrelevant to us with our drought of trophies. Any trophy would do. I think we'll finish in a Europa place anyway.

League cup doesn’t get Europa league anymore does it?

would absolutely be ecstatic at a EL or FA cup win this season.

League cup is a trophy but that's all it is, meh, im sure it will be a completely rotated side that plays Tuesday.
