I would describe him as fairly average
He's not so bad that he'd take us outside the top 6 for the first time in over a decade or anything but he wouldn't really push us forward

He was awesome for Valencia before they ownership realised he was doing really well and continued to tear the club apart limb by limb

1) contract made it cheaper to sack him outside the top 6
2) wanted to bury the story
3) didn't want to give him a chance to win a trophy
4) wanted to get the fans back onside

Yeah I think had Jose won the trophy it would make the sacking much tougher
It's entirely possible he sacked him because he was forecasting £350m of extra annual income from the ESL...
