Potter has distanced himself from the Spurs job today, says he’s happy at Brighton, has the support of the board, players and fans and has a lot more to do there.

Could be standard rhetoric that would be blown out of the water should we make him & Brighton an offer, but not exactly encouraging.

I've not heard the comments but could be just the sort of stuff an employed manager is expected to say, as you say. His loyalty was tested before at Swansea and he left after a season to join a PL club.

I would hope he'd consider us if we came calling but then again I wouldn't exactly blame him. Who wants to work for Levy?
