He is basically Jose but not outdated - I think he is top class (better than Poch) but can’t help but think a negative manager after another negative one wouldn’t work

Yeah I figured he wouldn't be popular. Though Jose has clearly just lost it, doesn't matter what tactics he likes no one wants to play for him these days.

That said, a lot depends on Allegri's man management skills. No idea if he speaks any English but if he can get the team together and playing well we could be brilliant to watch. And we do desperately need someone to sort out that defence.

Yeah but so has Potter and he's kept Brighton up, and they're better organised in defence.

I don't know why people would want Parker when you can have Potter.

Doesn’t fit the attacking profile.

IMO if he becomes our manager we have lost out on 5 or 6 other managers first.

Plus why would we have waited? If we wanted him he’d be in by now
