Agent Edward has picked this up. Say what you like about "ITK" but he's rarely wrong.

He says City will make first bid as United's first priority is Sancho.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if Son and/or Ndombele follow him out the door. They're too talented to play in a mid-table team with no Kane, and they have no real reason to stay since they're not tied to the club in any meaningful way.

If Levy can eke out... I dunno, £225m for the 3 of them, £250m at a push, then that's at least a good wedge for the new manager to spend...

Inevitable and I absolutely don’t blame him.

As far as we’re concerned, take him out and that is one seriously bang average team. He’s irreplaceable to us. We will probably start next season with Southgate or Martinez as manager and Danny Ings as our front man.

If someone wants to sign him though the fact remains that it would cost huge money to prise him away. He has plenty of contract time left and there isn't one player to replace what he does for Spurs. They would need a number of new signings. Will someone make such a huge bid?

I'd be gutted, but I'm inclined to think it's probably best for both parties to part ways. He'll achieve a lot more in his career away from Spurs anyway
