Can’t imagine Wolves selling Traore and Neves on deadline day. Given the choice, I’d rather have Neves as he adds something different to midfield.
As they are on the verge of signing Renato Sanchez, Neves would seem to be the more likely of the two.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
if Neves came, finally, FINALLY we would be threatening from free-kicks!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good to see Kane no way near the ball when it came to free kicks around the area against Watford.
Though the efforts from Dier and PEH were no better.
Neves And the right back would turn this into a good window for me.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know nothing of Royal so I can't comment on his qualities, will have to judge him based on purely his time with us rather than past performances
neves would be a great signing

4 right backs and 3 left backs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1 CB who plays right back
1 RB
1 RWB who looks crap now
1 average LB who can play CB in a back three
1 LB
1 LWB who is basically a winger

Squawka | Son Heung-min is the first Spurs player to score directly from a free-kick in the Premier League since Christian Eriksen in December 2019.

Honestly can't believe we couldn't find someone to chuck us a bit of cash for serge
His wage demands must have been silly
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yeah you'd think some european jokers would've rated him highly based on the fact he's played at PSG
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is also a good player

Spurs now favourites to sign him, that’s all I know!
Jack Pitt Brooke says we wont sign an attacking and Aurier is expected to stay defensive fc to counteract the average to poorness of most of them
Need a striker... on loan at least...
We’ve been in this situation before... Kane is bound to get injured at some point
Wish someone would be Winks... would be glad to see that back of him... Aurier & Doherty too

Buy Winks ffs!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’ll be Winks!
I'd be winks for £80k per week listening to people telling me I'm shiiit!
im winks for free in that case
needed another forward and to get rid of Aurier and neither look like happening so transfer window has just been ok in terms of looking a bit more to the future for players. but the balance of the squad isnt looking that great if we just get another right back in and no more outs.

Skipp is so much better than Winks...much stronger too...
Maybe Winks needs to bulk up a bit with the weights.... or just find another club
Surprised Newcastle & Everton aren’t in for him...
By all accounts ( journalists & itkers ) after Emerson nothing else will happen
Yep nothing else will happen, emerson announced just before deadline

Would be a bit underwhelming if that ended as the case, we’re missing something in the middle of the pitch. Also feel a bit aggrieved that Arsenal have just swooped in and signed Tomiyasu hassle free when we’ve supposedly been on the verge of signing him all summer. Appreciate signing Emerson means Tomi obvs wasn’t our first choice, but even so it’s annoying - even more so if he plays for them and turns out to be really good while Emerson is another Aurier!
