No wingers.

Getting boring now mate.

Alioski, first man on the team sheet, Douglas has done nothing to warrant a place in the starting line up, would have Gianni at left back all day long.
Bogusz will be a revelation this season.

Wouldn’t want Berardi anywhere near the first team.

The entire article doesn’t feature the word winger once.

He covered well at left back, but never the first name on the team sheet.

I don’t understand your point.

What is it that’s getting boring?

I love Gianni....but

I think (although he’s much slower) people underestimate the balance Douglas provided with quality balls down the line.

Gianni is not good enough as a starting winger as his end product is generally poor and he can’t beat people, Ayling is defensively stronger and even gets to the byline more.

As a LB, genuinely I love him. He has become one of my favourite players, as a back 4 I don’t see a place for him, he has a little pace which can get him out of trouble which Douglas can’t but being realistic he isn’t good enough at LB.

That being said there are far more pressing areas for improvement so if he starts at LB I won’t be annoyed as he “does a job” there certainly.

I thought Douglas failed to deliver overall but with a decent winger ahead of him could well realise more potential.

Alioski is ineffective as a winger at this level and really is just a fill in at left back, if club are really looking at quality wingers I think that is right thing to do and if they could get a quality striker even if he is maybe at older age of spectrum then suddenly we have some options and cover.

LB as a position covered by Douglas and Alioski is fine. especially if we have limited funds for new players, I don't see this as the area of concern.

The side needs fine tuning, not wholesale changes.

Berardi stays !!!!

Left back has adequate cover.

Right back sless so, and a centre half is a must.

Central midfield we have 4 players, so again, not a major concern.

The final third is worryingly thin and void of quality.

One option I would like to see and I don't know if Bielsa would pursue this.

He talks about doing plan A but doing it better. I would love us to get a striker who scores a fair share of headed goals but has good mobility and could play up top as a loan striker as an option. Am thinking we could face scenarios where we are maybe a goal down and have the guy come off the bench.maybe it could play to Douglas's strengths too getting him up the field in that situation with targeted crosses to the new striker.I also remember an article someone did on getting note goals from set pieces and it could help us there too.

I have basically just described Chris Wood , but someone like that would give us another dimension in games and get the best out of other players behind him

All i will say is the current squad does not get in the playoffs.

Berardi i have to agree with. Got away with that red card far too cheaply due to errors from Cooper/Casilla. Ultimately we were level in the tie when the idiot got himself sent off. He may have been fouled but that is irrelevant. He has proven time and time again that he is unreliable and every game he plays you have to be prepared for the fact he could cost you all 3 points. Enough is enough.

I agree, I was stupid enough to think after the start to the season he’d sorted himself out.

Liability, needs to be gone imo.

Don’t know how he’s gotten off the hook for costing us the play offs. Bloke is a liability and an idiot, don’t want him wearing a Leeds shirt again.

I was impressed with Davis last season. Would happily see him and Wilks get given squad player roles next season.

Bielsa should have taken Berardi off before his red, Orta and Radz stood still in Jan. Casilla and Cooper messed up the 1st and 3rd goals so I blame those ahead of Berardi who had an excellent first leg.
