I wouldn't say Tammy and Batshooey have huge question marks over them.

Take them out the equation and we're only left with Giroud!

If one of Emerson or Alonso leave (there have been whisperings of Alonso going), my tip for a dark horse to make the squad would be Juan Castillo.

I can only see us keeping one of those two in the squad to be honest. Don't see us going into the season with 3 strikers plus pulisic who can play up front if we're desperate

I would imagine it would be Batshooey who'd make way.

Then again, with the clean slate Frank has promised who knows!

I'm sure Frank (+ staff) already has a fair idea of most of the squad that will be select going into the season, keeping cards close to his chest. Diplomatic.

We’ll presumably keep one of Zouma or Timori. Hope we get rid of Zappacosta in favour of Reece James.
I know Lampard said he would give everyone a chance, but I can’t see us keeping either Drinkwater or Bakayoko after we signed Kovacic. We have 8 central midfield players for 3 places - which is 2 too many.
And I doubt Batshuayi will want to be 3rd choice striker - while Tammy may be happy as a backup for now. So I suspect Batshuayi will push for a move.

Out of those, three are pretty nailed on as 1st choice with one of those three out until - probably Xmas at the earliest?

I'm quite intrigued to see who will given favour of the 3rd midfield berth in RLC's absence - assuming we use a 3 man midfield.

Yeah, me too Brummie. I assume since we just spent €45M on Kovacic that he will get the nod - but like everyone else I’m hoping Mount will push for a starting place.

I hope it's not Kovacic, every man and his dog knows we're too sterile in midfield when we play Jorg, Kante and Kova together, which is why, despite his inexperience, I hope we go for Mount.

I still don't get the Kova signing for the price he cost, as far as I'm concerned he's only good enough to be back up to Jorg or Kante and at 45m that's too much for a backup player when we could use youth!

Hopefully Mount gets a run in the attacking midfield spot while RLC is injured, it would give him a lot of game time to get used to the league and by the time RLC comes back we could well have two good options for that spot, saving us having to spend any money there next summer.
