Who was it Crouch scored that freak goal against? Was that the City one?
Loved Crouchie. Good player and top bloke as well, had a really good career.
I'll remember him for the overhead bicycle goals and also that perfect hat trick against Arsenal.

Always liked Crouch, good luck to him, has had a very good career
Always liked Crouchie. Pretty limited player but always gave his all, was rarely injured and seemed like a genuinely nice bloke.
Goal at the Etihad vs City is obviously the memory that sticks out.
Really average Championship quality player who made the best of what little ability he had. Wouldn't get anywhere near the Spurs and Pool sides of today. Olivier Giroud who is a similar type is twice the player he ever was.
Decent self deprecating bloke though who is probably well aware of how fortunate he's been.
His podcast is good fun.
He must have ate some amount of bananas and porridge to last as long as he has.
