He’s been given a chance and is performing better in the role than our £30/40m signing Matic.

So we should already be replacing him with a world class signing?

We bought Fred too, also shiyte.

Add Pogba to the list as well.

You seem to have a unhealthy obsession with not wanting to give any patience to young academy players.

How will we ever get 1 or 2 break though if you literally calling out McT already?

we won't ever get 1 or 2 breaking through, that is the point. all we will get is loads of player who will never be good enough clogging up the first team and dragging us down.

we have given every half decent youth player years in the first team and in 15 years, one good player has been produced: pogba.

so we can either decide that we are a football team that exists to play youngsters from the local area in the premier league, or we can be a football team that tries to win stuff like our local neighbours manchester city or liverpool. but we can not be both.

it's also not in the club's dna, that is marketing that you have fallen for. lots of our great players were expensive finished signings: keane, cantona, rooney, van nistelrooy, ferdinand, robson

Bringing through Academy graduates to form an important part of the squad is not mutually exclusive to signing emerging talent from elsewhere.

Look at the squad that Cantona and then Keane joined and the players they played with.

Look at the squad that Rooney and Ferdinand joined and the players they played with.

Engage your brain ffs.
