Just about he first team then? But perhaps Holmes should be in for Jozefzoon (unless he has changed for the better in training}.

HT and still not much excitement
Roos keeping Derby in it at the end of the first half.
Bogle getting a grip on Defoe:

Watched it on Rams TV. Second best throughout. Roos was excellent and kept us in it until late on. Weight of pressure ultimately told. We got very little from the front four as a creative force and they were relatively flimsy in possession. Rangers looked a good team to me.
On that showing I think we need the extra midfielder in there, presumably, Shinnie to get some control. I also think we need a couple of new wide players who might worry the opposition ever so slightly.
Mount & Wilson will take some replacing. Certainly no one on the pitch did it today
Getting our "conceding at corners" practice in pre-season.
Well we need something for sure. But don't you think there was some beautiful passing between defenders. Passes across the field and back - great precision. They could do it without looking. At every opportunity they played the ball backwards and in good circumstances they sometimes passed sideways They never took any chances by playing the ball forward. This saved the energy of our front players so that at the end of the game they were still fresh for when they play real games. They will be sure to find their own players if they are alongside or behind.
In all seriousness there were some positives. Keogh defended well and we only conceded when the continuous defending overwhelmed him and his
co-defenders. I thought Dowell did well and Bennett. Waghorn was out of his depth (or trying too hard to hang on to his up-front role). Bogle did ok and Malone.
Roos was terrific - head and shoulders above any other Derby player. Coku will earn his money this season. We need to remember Rangers were slightly more advance in fitness than Derby.
Well done Ramdini, stellar stuff. You have said how I feel about the coming season. I'm wondering if we can get above Forest, I think that is all we have to play for.
I notice on posts on FB that Lawrence was pathetic today, I haven't seen the game but has anyone else go an opinion?
Two wingers in Tuppence and Josefzooooom, WTF could possibly go wrong?
I was in a local pub last night for a quick one or two and who should slide through the door but our old friend Gary Rowett. I said hello, but managed not to say what I really wanted to. I bet he wouldn't go near Stoke to have a meal.
Oh and I'm glad that Roos did well, he has come in for some very unfair criticism since we played without Waghorn and Marriott at Wembley.
Same for our excellent captain Richard Keogh, one of our better players in the last 50 years.
VC, it feels like he has been playing for us for 50 years!
I've been a longstanding supporter of TL, but I was very disappointed with him today. I can't imagine any progress this year, if we place too much reliance on him, Bennett, Anya & Josefzoon (Whittaker showed more intent in his short time on the pitch) to supply & score our goals
Haven’t seen the game but all sounds rather worrying. A tough season seems to await I’m afraid..

Sounds like a great excuse to have at least one more pint before every game Baz?
Could be some drowning of sorrows this season indeed! Is this going to be Clement #2 with a worse squad?
It'll be right enough, have faith.
Talking of which - didn't Igor volunteer to run the prediction league?
Yes a turbo charged one! I’ll give him a few days then give him a nudge..
We have to find a way to replace the 32 goals scored by Mount and Wilson. Many of those goals, particularly Wilson's, were individual bits of skill rather than team effort. I can't see any of our current squad approaching that. We don't have Mount's energy and creativity in midfield. I didn't rate Johnson very highly but Shinnie from reports is not up Johnson's standard.
Cocu either has to negotiate with a Premier league club for some quality loans or use his international connections to sign overseas players. I can't see him being in charge after Christmas unless he can improve the squad quality.
Watched the game, no idea why Sibley wasn’t given a run, game was crying out for some flair. Huddz is garbage when under pressure, any manager will tell their midfield to harass him and he will lose the ball.
Lawrence anonymous for most of the game, FloJo is even worse. Got to get a quality defender and midfielder in before next week. Roos did well today.
