My view
A) we might be fit but we are not sharp yet. We don't look as well drilled as we need to be and we are not moving as one unit.
B) klopp has called out several times how players are not making the moves they should be. He has blamed the amount of sessions he's doing for this. I hope he is right.
C) nobody else is standing still but we are i think we are going to again throw the cups playing kids and put all eggs in two baskets.
D) the only conclusions on staff i would make are that ki is ready to play first team for us, that klopp may start matip not gomez and finally that kent is going out this week somewhere
I agree with GT. It's obvious we lack cover for the front three especially Salah and Mane.
I doubt they will be injury free this season and the problem is exacerbated by playing international football this summer.
When we finished last season on a high I didn't expect a massive spend in this transfer window, but nor did I expect us to rest on our laurels. We have some decent young players coming through, but I won't pretend to be unconcerned by our lack of transfer activity.
What can ya do? Klopps been told theres no money. We only buy after we sell it seems. 20m budget each window it seems and theyre sticking to it.
Apparently Klopps massive 82m net spend over 4 years is FAR too much for a club of Liverpools size.
Arsenal wna think themselves lucky, complaining about a 40m budget, try 20m a season Klopps been restricted to.
John Henry talks big but looks like Klopp is getting his voicemail

It was obvious we would nit spend much this window as we had no big sale. We literally do only have a 20 mil budget plus anything we sell. We def need another striker, acm and prob cover at lb.
We gonna get smashed next sunday. Pre season is a good indicator how season will start and we are so far not doing well.
It's a risk not getting that 4th attacker but the reason will probably come out once the season starts.

Safe to say the first 11 is sound. So we’re looking for squad players as back up for 3/4 positions. Why would we spend big on squad players who’ll be sitting on the bench most of the time?
I'd imagine the trip to USA and all the double sessions was based around getting the core fitness in place.
This camp in France will be more along the lines of shape and movement, then hopefully it all comes together.
I gave up watching or worrying about pre-season a few years ago, it's pontless, I've seen us have a to[p pre-season and be poor in the opening games of the leage, and other way around.
We may still sign an attacker, but if we don't I think we're in decent shape going into the season.

only time will tell now.
its pretty clear the club and klopp have set their stall out so it's rather pointless worrying about it.
if we look back and brewster has been a massive talent, great.
most people have their minds made up on origi it seems as they do on shaqiri. perhaps Klopp doesn't agree.
who knows today but we will all know by Christmas or by may and everyone will be pretending to have known all along one way or the other.
Yeah we just have to sit it out. I'd like to think Klopp and the owners have earned our trust after last season and even the season before that...but we'll see.
Dybala's brother, Gustavo on 16/05/19 (prior to Allegri's departure): "There are many possibilities that Paulo leaves Juve, he needs a change. He is not
happy and will not be the only one to leave."
He explained what the reason for Paulo's problems were: "There are no problems with Ronaldo off the field, the problems are on it. You cannot beat Ronaldo and Paulo is young."
Haha wooooops wrong thread.
I was going to say though, you need Fernandes. Maybe not as much as us but your midfield is obviously the weakest part of your team.
Improve that and you could pip City.
No thanks we have unearthed the next Pirlo in Adam Lallana to play the 6 role.
