Yeah the whole crossing to no-one in particular is a bit depressing. At this stage I would be happier if we got a quality RB and CF, if KT and Ntcham go then we replacements for both, I suspect Boli might need some cover that is not Hayes
Not sure how i feel about Boli so far, not seeing much to get excited about but its early doors.
Would like to add that I have not been sure about Boli. Lots of energy etc, but I thought he improved massively 2nd half yesterday. Bit more composed and concentrated
Will take him a few games to adapt, not sure about him yet but for anyone to replace KT would be tough

ntchams a player, its just getting it out of him more often thats the problem.
he is our most technically gifted midfielder by a mile, his first touch is in his head.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is very good technically, but he's not more technically gifted than McGregor, nevermind by a mile.
would be daft to jump the gun based on a few performances but these are meant to be the easier games and thus far i'm not seeing anything thats making me think he is going to be a good signing.
time to adapt though and learn our style of play, hope there is a player in there.
there was a pass from Jullien late on last night
absolutely fizzed a 35 yard pass on to Griffiths toe(may of been Christie) when I don't think anyone apart from those 2 thought it was on
Still not sure about Boli, doesn't know when to get rid of the ball sometimes he fires it away at the earliest opportunity other times he hangs on to it for too long and attack breaks down
put it down to being new
his skill, vision, and range of passing are miles ahead of mcgregor.
mcgregors has a much better engine and his positioning is miles better than ntcham.
he much miles better in the Sarajevo games than last week and last night

I disagree on every part of that, McGregor is our best midfielder by a distance.
As for Boli, I agree that he's been less than convincing, looks to have some raw ability, but so far he's been pretty erratic, reminding me of Momo Sylla, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he's trying to hard, really needs to show more composure.
Good results so far. Well done guys.
2 more qualifying rounds to go?
i lilke mcgregor but he can't pass a ball like ntcham can and i never see him pull off bits of skill like he does either, we also rarely see him play a through ball.
i'd have mcgregor in my team every week over ntcham because of his work rate and consistency but on those individual attributes ntchams far better.
fingers crossed with Boli, hopefully its just that he is taking time to settle.

I'm with SJB on this
McGregor is a better more gifted player than Ntcham
that's why one will go to the highest level and the other will go and fade away in Frace
i agree that mcgregor will go on to have a better career than ntcham but i put that down to attitude, which tbh its probably the attribute which matters most

Tierney deal almost done according to Stephen McGowan
