Tickets for the 2nd leg at home on sale, only £15, should be a full house.
The Bosphorus bridge in Istanbul is supposed to be the link between Europe and Asia. As Armenia is east of Turkey what they doing in the Europa League anyway
The away game against Pyunik on August 8th will kick off at 17:00 uk time

Return flight from Gatwick is only £1,500, a snip!
There are no direct scheduled flights to Armenia from the UK.
To reduce the time that the players spend travelling (especially coming back) Fosun should charter an Airbus A320, put all the players and coaching staff up front and fill the rest of the seats with supporters who have purchased their 15 quid tickets. At least they would get 150 supporter to make some noise at the ground.
$1500 from here via Moscow, takes 15 hours!!

It is kind of ridiculous that Almaty play in Europe when it is about 100 miles from China. An 8 hour flight beyond Yerevan!!
amazing what you can get from uefa/fifa with a well stuffed brown envelope
If Wolves get through the next Europa round then get a home draw first in the play off round we would have 4 home games in 11 days with Pyunik on 15th, Man Utd 19th, Play Off 22nd and Burnley 26th. Might take a sleeping bag to the first one and camp out in the Steve Bull stand for a while. Live on bovrils

my satnav says it will take 2 days 11 hours to do the 3,092 miles to yerevan.
petrol would be a bit stiff in my 4.2litre jag but if the daughter would lend me her 50mpg jazz my maths says it cost £370 at £6 a gallon

only one at the most. you'd enter armenia from turkey. as a major uk holiday destination i wouldn't have thought turkey would demand a visa from uk nationals

You need one for Turkey if I remember correctly, I only went last year on the way out to the Stans. Think it was touch and go with the missus because Turkey and the US were having an issue I wasn't aware of til booking the flights
you're right about turkey but a visa not needed for armenia
It's probably a 'feck you' Visa as we probably make them have one. I remember us going to Brazil(may have been Argentina I forget) and for the missus it quite bluntly said online words to the effect of 'because you make us have one we are making you have one'
Just got an ad flash up London to Armenia £686 limited seats. E Dreams
This would be the kind of game i would go to for sure if i lived in the UK. Much more interesting than bloody Belfast. Only down side of course is that you only get a weeks notice with the way the draw works.

6,000 mile round trip to the arzhole of europe has no interest to me but each to his own.
Draw for the play off stage on Monday and looks like we will play one of four either/or opposition;
Torino of Italy or Shakhtar Soligorsk of Belarus
Ventspils of Latvia or Vitoria Guimares Of Portugal
Austria Vienna or Apollon Limassol Of Cyprus
Midtylland Of Denmark or Rangers of Scotland
If we played in Vienna I would make the effort, one of the cities in Europe I have not yet been to but on my bucket list

Vienna is stunning. Especially the Museums Quarter. If you get a chance are a fast ferry to Bratislava which is just about 90 minutes up the Danube.
Vitoria Guimares might be interesting with possibly 15 or more Portuguese on the pitch and two Portuguese managers

Why is Armenia the arzhole of Europe?!?!? Sounds like you still think it's 1980.
There was a lot of speculation that we would send out a bunch of kids in the early matches in the Europa league but Nuno has sensibly used the games as pre season matches to get the players ready for the league season.
But this week is different to me, and if we turn up at Leicester next week with a team of players who have just had a 13,000 mile round trip we would be asking for trouble. The task at Pyunik is just to contain the result to either a draw or even narrow defeat because we should surely be able to beat them by more than 1 at Molineux.
So I would hope to see a few of our regular team stay behind when the flight leaves for Armenia and trust in the likes of Ruddy, Vallejo, Vinagre, Saiss, Cutrone, MGW etc and probably Doherty, plus maybe even Jordao and Neto.
6,500 mile round trip that is
