I had heard that Davis had left Rangers.

Yes, I know he left Rangers years ago and came back.

So he's still there then..?

Also, have we found out who Hot Shot Hamish used to be..?

posted on 2/8/19

I'm pretty sure he wasn't anyone before

posted on 2/8/19

Hamish was in tiger and scorcher before

He also played for Rangers season 90.91

It’s not known if he received and EBT though

posted on 2/8/19

He used to be Hot Shot Harriett.

Alf Tupper was a better all-rounder.

I was too busy on other books

Sharp Objects - Gillian Flynn - ok
The Outsider - Stephen King - at his best
Arabia - Levison Wood - superb
Heroes - Stephen Fry - bizarre
Natural Born Heroes - Christopher MacDougall - not as good as Born to Run
Double Crossed - Brian Wood - eye opener

Just curious...when you say books, do you mean real actual hard/paper back ones or e-books?

Both

Sometimes buy on my kindle and sometimes buy paper or hardback

Hamish is Hamish and has always been Hamish at heart - simple as that.

Good wee game at Auchenhowie tonight to mark the opening of the new stand.

A few first teamers got a run out on a very sunny evening.

Helander did ok - won pretty much everything in the air. His passing into midfield is tidy but when pressurised on the ball he had a couple of shaky moments.

Hastie didn’t make much of an impression tbh. We seem intent on playing him on the left when his real breakthrough at Motherwell came when he played on the right and cut in. Bit meh really.

Polster is a decent holding CM - possibly Gers best player on the night.

Love wee Dapo - he definitely has something about him👍

Chelsea had some good players - but special word for Gilmour. Composure, range of passing and vision all excellent.

Nice wee moment when McPake was breaking and he took a yellow to stop him - and good to see old team mates having a laugh about it after.

1-1 fair enough 👍

Davis didn't play last night because of a slight injury, in case anyone's really interested.

He’s still here, signed a contract at the conclusion of last season.

Took him a while to get to fitness but he’s arguably our most important player. We look a much better team with him pulling the strings in the middle of the pitch than with not.

Zico, a few of the other guys have already confirmed Steve Davis is still at Rangers and very much still a main player for us.

Link below in case you were interested explaining that Davis had a tight hamstring and it was decided it was best not to risk him against that fouling mob the other night and that dodgy pitch. Correct decision I would say.

Hopefully he plays on Sunday for us because we need him in our midfield. Saying that, we have quality in our midfield with Kamara, aribo, jack and arfield, but Davis is a big player for us.
