Good window imo
You'll be playing for cl places imo

And most teams are midtable or lower.
I do worry about our midfield in general. Tbf to McTominay, he finished last season strongly and was arguably our best player in preseason. I didn't think he was good enough to be at United, but he is winning me over. But I'd still like to see a replacement for Matic. And I agree that without Pogba in the team, we don't have a player to pick the killer pass between the lines. When he's in the mood (which isn't often enough for my liking) there are few better, but there's nobody else of that ilk in the squad
Very few teams have two truly creative midfielders.
But on a positive note, AWB looks like a great fit at right back, James has shown flashes of quality and will hopefully develop more of an end product. Not expecting too much too soon. And Maguire is a definite upgrade on what we have
If our signings are done, we'll struggle
We needed 2 midfielders with losing herrera... We're weaker in an area that we already weren't good enough
Awb looks great... Dan james is a free kick magnet
Maguire will improve us on set pieces but without a better midfield his pace could be exposed
We need to clear out sanchez and others or i fear they'll take places on the bench instead of the kids
Midfield should have been addressed

That's true tbf. City are probably the exception to that rule. But they do have full backs constantly creating chances, whilst we don't. So the creativity does have to come from somewhere and I'm not sure where at United

Well Dave, we always get called a mid table team when 6th.
I understand that the 'rebuild' can't be completed in one window, in fact it will take numerous windows but I genuinely thought when we lost Hererra for nothing, that as a minimum we would look to replace him. Are we seriously suggesting we go into this season totally dependent on the likes of Fred and Pereirra?! Lots of positives from pre-season but the signings we have made have been absolute necessities and in the case of Maguire and Wan Bissaka, huge upgrades but they add nothing to creativity of our side

Gomes has the skill, class, intelligence and vision to provide the qualities that we lose when Pogba doesn’t play, but the question is whether he’ll be trusted. The other problem is that without a quality senior midfielder alongside Pogba, we could end up with a very young and relatively untried midfield in Gomes, McTominay & Pereira.

MacT, Pogba and Perreira, Rashy, Martial and Lingard up top is good enough to beat most imo.

It wasn't last season.

Inter just bid 80m Euros including 5m add Ons for Lukaku apparently.

We will be relying heavily on at least one of Rashford or Martial to take a big 'leap' in the consistency of their performances. It isn't beyond the realms of possibility because I still think both have big potential, but it's a big risk.
As for the midfield, just dont get me started. What I am hoping for there though is that we give Gomes a fair chance throughout the season. Not only because he looks ready, but if we dont you can guarantee there will be clubs on the continent circling (I hear his contract is up next year?)
Disappointing tranfer window really. AWB is the only signing that addresses a big problem in the team with a significant upgrade in that position.

Poor window if we make no more signings. That midfield literally is midtable stand

If we do no more business we won't make top 4. With Chelsea's transfer ban we had a real opportunity to push ahead of them and we haven't made the most of it
