Lo Celso and Sessegnon are done?

No, neither are nailed on yet. The latest rumour is Celso flew in by private jet last night for a medical today. Nothing new on RS.

You’d have been far better with tierney than sessignon

We've supposedly had fees agreed for Lo Celso and Sessegnon, but I won't consider them done deals until they're holding our shirt

Sess is gonna go under the radar a bit considering our other signings, but getting him is a major coup. He has the ability to be a top player and is HG.

First off LCelso is being quoted as a loan deal, so not our player, and we laughed at Arsenal, but do the same ?.

Seeegnon should have been a no brainer weeks ago, but, once again, Levy has squeezed this deal to the limits, still leaving us potentially missing out if he keeps pi**ing about today.

Dybala. Really ? no way in hell Levy is going to get anywhere near this one. Way to expensive for his taste. Just more paper talk, or Levy playing games to influence other deals, that probably won't happen..

Then there is Eriksen. I for one want to see him go, given his attitude, but him out, LeCelo in. This is one in / one out, with us getting a player with no PL experience. How are we batter off ?

Ndombele - yeah will give you that one. Was definately what we needed after Demele, and seems a good player.

But overall, have we moved the first team forward enough to challenge the top two, or god forbid actually win a trophy ?

Dybala is pie in the sky imo.

Ndombele replaces Dembele.
Lo Celso replaces Eriksen.
Sessegnon takes Trippier's space in the squad.

It's a bang average window, no attempts to add quality and numbers just replacing those you are losing.

With Vertonghen and Alderweireld next summer it's going to be difficult to kick on when Levy seems happy just to fill gaps.

it's a bit curious to me that we'd spend 65m+ and big wages on Dybala when the same deal (may be more fee and less wages) could probably get Zaha. willing to bet Zaha gets more goals assist and penalties than Dybala if he joins.

I've not seen a single article saying that Lo Celso is a loan deal.

We've been bidding to buy him all summer and have now had a £55m bid accepted.

Where did you get this loan deal from?!

Perhaps Poch see's Dybala as a better fit for the club.

That said I don't think we will pull the Dybala deal off.

Dybala is massive in Argentina. Second only to Messi. The club's stock will rise dramatically overnight if we managed to get him.

To be fair to the ridiculously negative one....BBC are now reporting it’s likely to be a loan with ‘an obligation to buy’. Hate loan deals, just buy him!

Yeah Ornestein of the BBC saying Le Celso is a loan with an obligation the buy.

Loan deals have the advantage of seeing if player is suited to PL but on the other hand history has shown players could need longer so there is a risk of making a hasty decision to drop permanent deal.

Gonna be tough to drop with an obligation to buy.

How can anyone be upset with what is happening?

Lo Celco is a masterstroke by Levy... We have paid for an initial loan which means PSG get nothing. We then have an obligation to buy him for the remainder of the fee (WE HAVE TO BUY HIM) next year which means that we get him for a lower fee as Betis save money on the transfer and only have to pay PSG €3M.

Also that means it frees up funds for us to pay for image rights and snap up Dybala who is world class.

So this window could potentially see us get (and i'm extremely confident)

Dybala
N'dombele
Sessegnon
Lo Celco.

That is incredible. Plus they may pull another one out the bag...

Anyone is is negative about the above needs their head testing.

Are we going into the season weaker at RB than last season, where RB was our massive problem area - even though Trippier was (supposed to be) an actual RB?

Will we still get skinned down the right?
