And Douglas should have been taken off and the subs should have been made 5 to 10 min earlier

Stoopo, totally agree with you as regards the ref, absolutely biased.

I’d give Costa a start over Forshaw or Klich. Both played ok but I just feel the threat from Costa will make the difference.

Today I’d have replaced Douglas with Alioski as him and Harrison appear to work well together.

Costa is a confidence player, having him on the bench early season isn't going to do him any favours at all.

I think you are right Harrison seemed to pull his groin stretching for a high ball so right to sub him rather than make it worse.

I thought Forshaw was immense today. Contender for MoM for me. Nothing spectacular, but chasing everything and winning the ball back a lot today.

Lack of height is a big worry also. We'll miss Jansson's aerial ability.

Apart from him being taken out by their defender (cynical), Costa barely noticeable again.
Either he needs to be given more time to have an impact or he isn't yet up to speed. We are either using him wrongly or the hype is just that.
People are saying he should be starting but he has shown little to justify that assessment.

White’s problems will be physical... he got man-handled by Dawson for that headed chance. On the ball he looks excellent.

Been saying all summer we need a number 10. Fully agree.

I have no idea why he plays Alioski on the wing. He has no pace. He is a full back.

Harrison is looking a real threat for us.

Your Costa fear is the fact that very few of our expensive signings ever work. Its usually a Snodgrass Gradel Pablo Cooper Ayling Beckford Becchio who do well. Or a young lad from the academy

Alioski is good but positionally he's a problem. As a fullback he's effective, and as a winger he's effective but when he tries to do both he ends up leaving the defence vulnerable and that cost us a few goals last season. Either Bielsa has failed to learn certain lessons from last season or he knows something we don't.

Yes especially later in games when teams go more direct.Having said that I really rate White and what he brings but fear we will concede soft goals on set pieces this season through lack of height as a defending unit.

Leeds United played a typical game today. Controlled for most of the time then let the opposition creep back in and nick a goal.

We were the better team. We need to be taking more chances although I was pleased with Bamford's overall performance. The defence needs to be alive for 90 minutes, sloppy goal to concede.

2 points lost but it's early days and I'm not seeing much in terms of better teams than us thus far.

Interesting to see the selection against Salford. We need a bloody good result if only to boost confidence.
