Rangers financial plan has been fwcked for years.
It was all based on gaining CL groups in 2 of the 5 years.
Yes they are being funded but at what cost? Still nowhere near being self sufficient. The impending SDI court case has to be significant.
Fair play to the bears who continue to go and support their team and buy those tickets.

Hmmm just a wee tad off topic methinks.
What position even is Edouard, he’s never seemed like an out and out centre forward to me so seems like a luxury player in some ways. I’d much rather Morelos leading the line.
All well saying Morelos isn’t a twenty million player, but prices are going up and when you look at values of players down South then Dembele was cheap for Lyon. He’d have been worth more than Tierney in my book if he had been sold this summer.
Can’t get over how mad it is, the boy McBurnie going for twenty mil
The selling teams financial strength also has a influence on the fees, if Celtic were struggling off the pitch we'd never had received a bid of £25m for KT, I have no doubt Arsenal will have looked at our books before making a bid.
That's one of the main reasons I think Rangers will struggle to get more than £10m for Morelos unless they can drum up a bidding war.

I'm just going to state my thoughts on it here and now
Eduoard is going to be a bigger and better player than Dembele. Both are going to the top but there is so much more to Eduoard's game these days it's frightening the potential the lad has
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Moussa has more a strikers instinct, but I think Edouard is better with the ball at his feet, both at their best it's hard to pick.
gutting dembele left last year, i'd have loved to have seen more of the both of them

Edouard and Morelos are totally different footballers.
Ironically both of them would be some pairing.
I'd really like to see Morelos and Defoe in the same team and I'm sure it'll happen at some point.

JA606 thread goes off topic shocker!!!!
Wasn't me who took it off in the first place mind
I don't think we really seen the best of Moussa often enough, if we had he'd have went for closer to the Dembele Dollars once predicted, he raised his game when the eyes of the world were on him but he strolled through most of the league games and I think that's backed up by the fact that his goal stats for Lyon are better than they were at Celtic even though he is playing against better defenders, he was also behind Griffiths and a 19 year old Édouard on goals per minute on the pitch.
Dembele felt the way Ntcham does, thankfully the kept it to himself though, not hating on the big man, he did a good job and earned us a nice wedge, and I'm sure we'll earn another £6-8m sell on when he moves on next season.

Aye seems to be the way, though he did talk preseason about maybe tinkering with three at the back.
If that was the case there could well be two leading the line and at some point during a game there could be both up front.
Macgregor
Goldson Helander Katic
Tav Davis Kamara Aribo Barisic
Defoe Morelos
It's doubtful a formation like this will happen but you never know.

I think Aribo being there has allowed Jack to relax a bit and focus on just being good at what comes naturally to him.
Gerrard was trying to get Jack to be more attacking last season and it just isn't his game.
With Aribo being more of a naturally attck mined player Jack can sit comfortably in the middle third and do what he is goo at. He can also choose his moments to go forward rather than trying to force it.
I have never been Jacks biggest fan but he has started the season really well.
NNH, I was waiting for someone with that intelligence to say that. As much as I think morelos is a bam, good finisher & intelligent link up. Would be a great link with dembele.
Dembele plays upto on his own. He doesn't link up with anyone.
I think if Morelos can add a bit more composure to his game instead of trying to blast every shot as hard as possible, and stop reacting to niggly fouls from opposition players, then his value would increase substantially. I think a lot of Celtic fans, perhaps willingly, can't see past his ill discipline and inability to score an open goal from 2 yards out, both of which can be addressed with coaching and experience.

How many open goals has morelos missed from 2 yards out?
He missed one against celtic and one for Colombia.
And in the meantime has scored about 50 goals and had multiple assists.
Aye but remember that one time two years ago he sclaffed an easy chance against celtic?
It is comical the way morelos is judged by celtic fans.
Yes he was an indisciplined bam last season. But his all round play also massively improved and I would say his chance conversion has also significantly improved.
