I think Klopp and Pep will stick around for the long haul.

No incentive for them to move on. Both successful, with two fantastic teams and the adoration of the fans.

Of course you'll win the league eventually if you spend 1 billion pounds on new players every season.

I'm almost certain Klopp will go at the end of his contract unfortunately.

How long does he have left Robbing?

He does seem like one of those managers that sets himself a period of time at a club then moves for a new challenge, rather than one that hangs on until the axe falls.

I wonder if that's just pessimism. I don't see a reason for him to leave. Where would he go?

I suppose if Madrid or Barca are crying out for a manager at that time then there's always a risk, but his heart seems to be in Liverpool now.

I don't see him at Real Madrid. I could be wrong, but I have the feeling he wouldn't want that job. Possibly a move to Italy next.

If Liverpool don't beat Chelsea by 4 minimum, United are second favourites for the league.

I thought Utd had already won the league at the weekend?

Maybe not this season but Sunday showed we’ve basically got seasons 21/22 through to 29/30 seen up.

Would be surprised if we don’t win at least five of those with the quality we have coming through, and with Ole in charge.

Yeah saw that. Seems strange that he thinks they'll win it before us.
---------------

I think that it really comes down to Klopp and how long he stays. If he can't beat City is there any chance that he might sack it off and move on? Or will he stick it out and keep going?

Also, can he keep the group of players together long enough to win a title? If they keep coming second to City despite playing as well as they did last season and racking up all those points, do some of the players get frustrated and look elsewhere for trophies?

I feel like the clock is against you at the moment and you are unlucky that City are so string right now.

Yeah he's done exactly that and said he'llsee it out then that's that.

Runs out in 2022.

Well, still another 3 seasons to enjoy the football and hope for the best. I think that you will be in with a chance for the title each of those seasons. But City are so strong now it is hard to see past them. As Jose alluded to as the weekend, City have 2 very strong teams. A few injuries won't bother them too much. It is a different story with Liverpool. You will need a bit of luck to win the title in that period. Barring massive strides forward in the other big team in a short period, you would be disappointed if Klopp left at the end of his contract and hadn't won at least 1 title. I think that would be a failure.

Each to their own but not for me. The older I get the less I care about trophies which is probably best given the last 10 years!

I genuinely look forward to every game and the culture he has created is excellent. They really do seem a humble and sound set of lads.

In terms of replacement I do Nuno Espirito Santo in terms of style and manner. Long way to go football wise until then.

Nike have made a record offer to do our shirts and are willing to part fund players. Klopp will leave a lasting legacy I believe.

I didn't mean his time overall would be viewed as a failure. He has done an excellent job for you.

I meant it more in isolation with the regards to the league title over the next 3 years. You are in a great position at the moment in terms of your squad with the players understanding the system. 3 of the traditional big boys are weaker than usual and Spurs are Spurs. If you can't win 1 of the next 3 PL titles, taking into account how close you came last season, then I think that would be a failure. And I think Klopp would agree with that. But irrespective, Klopp will leave Anfiled in great shape, I have no doubt about that.

Yeah perception is funny.

Im of the opinion that its more kudos to City rather than failure on our part.
