And a very good topic it is to discuss as well, Mamba.
To me it is all about how you define flop.
My definition is living up to the expectations. So, for Jose let us look at what I expected from him when we signed the chap.
1. Trophies.
Jose has done quite well in that department winning two of them. One has to deduce that he has not flopped there.
2. Playing boring football.
Again one can only deduce that Jose has been a run away success here. He has managed to out bore LVG at times.
3. Having a meltdown in his third season.
Jose was a cert for this expectation. In fact he has been so good at it, he manged to get way ahead before the season had even kicked off.
So, to recap, Jose has lived up to all my expectations, and then some, and thus could never be considered a flop.
