If you do a combined XI it's hard to argue that we would get more players In there
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Spurs midfield is better than Liverpools, and their forwards are on a par with Liverpools I'd say.

Allison

Taa Alderweireld Van Dijk Robertson

Sissoko Eriksen Ndombele

Moura Kane Son

Yeah big no on Lucas and son over salah and mane lol
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Apparently the Liverpool midfield and forwards work so well as units, hence me going for all 3 or none

1. City
2. Pool
3. Spurs
4. Arsenal
5. Utd
6. One of the teams in Blue.

Alisson
Toby VVD Verts
TAA Ndombele Keita Robertson
Eriksen
Salah Kane

Although difficult to really argue for that midfield 2 considering Ndombele has played 2 games for us and keita had a disappointing first season, so just shove fabinho and wijnaldum in there

Ooooh big shout with Keita there Christopher!

Allison

TAA Alder VVD Robbo

Fabinho Henderson Eriksen

Salah Kane Mane

I've gone for balance there but I'm a big fan of Verts. Not seen enough of Ndombele. Eriksen dining out on previous form.

Yeah Keita and Ndombele were so excellent before they got to the prem so I have faith in both of them

Think keita will come good but based on last season youd take 2 of Fabingo/Henderson/Wijnaldum

Based on last season you’d take Sissoko over Keita.

I've changed my mind on United after seeing their first couple of games. They seem to be playing for each other now and fighting for each other, apart from the god in the middle who shall not mix it up with the mere peasants. If they can make CL this season and get rid of Pogba, they could be a threat next season.

Spurs will be third or fourth, depending on United. If United get any sort of consistency they could overtake Spurs.

Something doesnt seem right at Spurs, for me. I may be completely wrong but over the last few seasons, players have wanted to leave. Could it be wages, players sick of going close but ultimately failing? Now we have the first choice full back being sold, the first choice left back available for sale, a centre back in the last year of his contract and the star midfielder wanting a new challenge. A club in Spurs' position shouldn't be facing these challenges and over time the negativity starts to creep into the games, which is what I believe happened last season with a ridiculous amount of unexplained defeats, which shouldn't have happened under normal circumstances.

The count is rising. From 2 to 5 in 6 minutes.

Think Arsenal are being massively underrated this season. Had a great summer of bringing people in and have one of the best strikers in the league. Ceballos is a brilliant player and after watching the euros wanted us to sign him.

*obv I don’t mean they’ll win the league - but top 4 is surely a minimum for their quality?

I can safely say that "the first choice full back being sold" is not at all a concern

Arsenal do seem to have been written off by quite a few. I fancy them to make top four with their fire power. Though it’s difficult to call right now as we don’t know what impact the cups will have and whether we’ll do any business in January.

Really? Haven't seen much of KWP but has looked decent when I have seen him and Aurier always seems to be injured. Trippier somehow came off the back of a couple of good seasons, had one poor one and got sold. One game in for Atletico and he has kept a clean sheet and assisted the only goal of the game.

How you reckon your boys this season?

Dunno really. We look short of goals so probably 5th. But maybe we’ll do something in January that’ll change my mind.

Liverpool - More spirit that Manchester City and those two are by far and away the leagues best sides.

Manchester City - Most talented side but i still have questions around their bottle.

Spurs - Third best side by a distance, might be under threat from Arsenal but over the piece should stay in front.

Arsenal - Most improved squad, better forwards than Manchester United or Chelsea. If the defence gels and Ceballos can continue in the same vein they could trouble Spurs.

United - Lacking quality in midfield and a thin squad relying heavily on youth and the over-rated Pogba but on the limited evidence so far have improved and look hungrier. Work in progress.

Chelsea - Another work in progress, a strike force limper than an 80yo mans cauk. Will be fun to watch but goals will be a problem.

I think Man U or arsenal could finish 4th or 5th. If Arsenal’s new players settle in well, and we get through the period alright until we get our first choice back 4 fit we’ll be in a strong position to challenge 3rd and get 4th. However we could easily struggle until then and leave ourself with some catching up to do. Arsenal won’t really be at full strength until October time depending on recovery times
