Wow.

I am genuinely amazed at the reaction on here.

Poch has got Spurs overachieving imo and if he were to go, I think you'd suddenly realise what a special manager he is for you.

I think with the players who running their contracts down the only thing we could have done was sell them earlier but many would not have been happy selling our best players.

Surely this will be Kanes last season too, he's given you a fair part of his career and surely deserves a medal or two?

Can you see him sticking around for another year?

I'm an 80s kid and from my recollection, Pochettino is the best Manager you've had in all that time.

The football you've played under Poch is the best you've played in all that time.

You've now got a super stadium and you've just come off the back of a CL final.

I really feel with Spurs that it's a 'be careful what you wish for' situation.

We wouldn't have been happy but if the club had explained that they wouldn't sign improved new contracts and losing them for nothing was the likelihood then folk would of understood.

overachieved

Guys a total fraud and underachieved massively when you consider he's had Kane, Dele, Vert, Toby, Hugo, Eriksen etc etc

No better than Brendan Rodgers imo

Now he's spent a small fortune so the excuses end this season.

My hunch - zero trophies

agree with your comments but it feels like we have hit a brick wall, players contract not being sorted, constant rumours of players failing out with the manager and being punished, failed transfer windows that are either non existent or totally inadequate there is no more hugging the manager it is very bleak on match days now all the passion has gone from the team so it appears to be the end of an era , i think we will leave

Fair enough.

I just don't really know what anyone expected. You're miles away from investing the levels that City have (and United, to be fair), and you don't even invest the same as Liverpool do.

You've been a consistently quality PL team - finishing top four against the odds and getting to the CL final.

It's three games into a new season.

Far, far too early to be making these snap judgements.

Disagree Don. Levy delivered Poch's three main targets. Ndombele was the key and he was brought in early. Sessegnon was injured and Lo Celso at copa America so wouldn't have started the first couple of games even if bought early.

The Newcastle loss in on Poch. No intensity and waiting until 65 mins until making a sub when he would have been justified doing it after 30 mins.

I think he is currently sulking because he thought Eriksen would have signed a new deal. Imo, after the Arsenal game and a couple of weeks off Poch will get over his little sulk and we will go on a decent run.

Real Madrid are still in disarray ,I think that it's only a matter of time, and Poch knows that !

It’s been going on for 8 months mate. I’m not saying Pochettino should be sacked am I ? There is clearly deep issues at the club and I wouldn’t blame Pochettino for walking. I don’t think you will see Nang Spurs fans wanting him sacked, so I’m not to sure why you are so amazed we are feeling low about the club right now. For all our great top 4 finishes, we haven’t won a single trophy in over 10 years. It isn’t good enough.

Three games, gents.

One of those you won and one was a draw away at Man City.

If this was March and Spurs were languishing in sixth, maybe this would be a credible debate. But it's really not. Can you not see how absurd this is?!

8 months?

In that time you comfortably finished top four and got to the final of the Champions League.

Woe is you.

didnt we finish top 4 by like a point in the end? lol

the decline is worrying. I can see Poch at Madrid not too long but he will be here till the end of this season maybe even next.

We scraped into the top 4 on the back of an absurd amount of losses and due to how p*** poor Arsenal and United were. Our CL run was fantastic, but it completely papered over the cracks. 3 wins in our last 14 prem games. You think that’s acceptable ? Also I think you are missing the point of this article here, I am not saying Pochettino out.

We didn't comfortably finish top 4 and since Feb (the last 15 games) we have shown relegation form and would be in the bottom 3.

It's a huge cause for concern and one that fans will be discussing on a football forum.

I don't think no one is saying sack Poch, I'm certainly not.

Well, sandy is, but we'll leave him to it

I understand you're concerned but I personally think it's being taken way too far at such an early stage of the season.

In my opinion, you stumbled at the end of the season because of the CL run and a squad that lacks investment.

You probably haven't strengthened enough and you have a few issues, but the reality is that you still look primed to have a reasonable season and it's far too early for anyone to suggest otherwise.

I am genuinely amazed at the negativity.

Exactly mate. Winston is completely missing the point of this article and making out Spurs fans all want Poch out, when that’s the complete opposite. We can just see something is not right at Spurs and hasn’t been for 8 months. It’s been shocking it really has. A couple of great CL wins doesn’t change that. 3 wins in our last 14 league games, horrendous.
