Agreed. I get the impression he's a very good pro and I think we could have used him more at times over the last few years.
£1.36m is a nothing fee though when you see the prices of some players.

Odd transfer fee. I guess they just said: “We will give you a million plus whatever his squad number is.”
Really weird signing for us. Started off well, had one bad game and never really got it going. I bet he’s looking forward to Parma v Inter games...
Its a poor fee but we will save on wages as well.
I think the club might have been sympathetic to his wishes on moving back to Italy too.
I remember being at OT for his debut and thinking he looked brilliant and we'd sorted out the position for years
Hopefully that doesn't happen again after similar thoughts stood watching AWB in his first home game too...

Was just thinking before Fergie under Big Ron we had a midfield of Robson, Wilkins and Muhren, Hughes and Stapleton up front a real winger Jesper Olson, Paul Magrath at the back, compare that to what we stick out Saturday it’s depressing
