Sanchez was very unfairly scapegoated yesterday, he did a job, and was no more culpable at the back for the goals conceded than any other player.

When I saw the line up I assumed we’d gone 3 at the back with Sissoko and Rose as wing backs. Didn’t imagine for one moment Sanchez would be at RB. It’s deffo a problem for us at the moment and something oppo managers will target.

Yes, you're not the only one
All the journos and sky got confused too.
They had to ask Poch and he sidestepped the answer but was asked again, and was asked specifically if he was using Sanchez as RB in 4-3-2-1 system, and he said....Though he did qualify it with is having playes who can play if diff positions and we might change that system during the game.
I am really not hopeful for Sanchez even as a centre back.
He is just is not good enough on the ball and doesn't seem to have a football brain.
I hope I am wrong but I am more optimistic for Foyth as at least he can play he just needs to cut out silly mistakes which should improve as he gets older.
sanchez been sold down the river by poch and the lack of proper planning by the club. RB situation was the most inevitable fack up ive ever seen. banged on about it all summer and 4 games in its already a total disaster.

To be fair Chronic I don't think Poch was anticipating injuries to both KWP and Foyth.
Hopefully one of them will be back for the Palace game

since when are KWP and Foyth acceptable RB options for a team that should have been aiming to win the league / CL as we entered the summer window.

I agree but I honestly think that Poch was happy with that situation.

have a day off sandy he didnt do a job at all. he may as well have no been there.
Arsenals 2nd goal was all down to Verts letting the Arsenal striker get behind him. Poor defending. The first goals was a complete mess by the entire defence, although Rose was most culpable by not just hoofing the ball upfield.

Both goals were attributed to poor defending by other defenders. Rose for the first and Verts for the second, where he allowed an Arsenal player to sneak in behind him. Not all about Sanchez mate, the rest of the defence were as bad.
Sanchez isn't good enough to be a regular starter for us. I wish him well, but he should be at Watford or someone like that.
