I don't actually see this as any big deal. No big team is operating on a shoestring are they and someone is always going to be the biggest spenders. At this point in time it happens to be City.

PL is the big one. 38 games is the true test. A few cups are the icing on the cake but dont replace the PL trophy. Not winning it says everything about a season if you were in a leading position.
