Howe is an interesting one. I personally wouldn't describe him as the most overrated necessarily, but I can see that his stock is declining year on year.
Sometimes, a manager is just well suited to a club and its a marriage made in heaven. When that manager tries another club, such as Howe did with Burnley, it shows that he's just not quite got what it takes to manage elsewhere. When his time comes at Bournemouth, whenever that be, it'll be interesting to see where his career goes from there.

From what I can read on here or talking to my mates, no one really regards him highly. He is an OK manager but that is it really and most tend to agree.
AFC might finish 4th this season but that will mainly be because of the players, not the manager.
In fact, if he fail to achieve CL spot, he will get the sack and rightly so.
Let's see how he does this season, clearly he did no more than the bare minimum last season but he's been helped with a good window.

What he did to Liverpool is also why I consider him underrated.
Tbf to Hodgson, by the time he got to Liverpool Rafa had spent all their money, and all their really good players had gone or were wanting out. Alonso had gone, Mascherano was going and Torres was desperate not to play for Liverpool.

Howe is an interesting one. I personally wouldn't describe him as the most overrated necessarily, but I can see that his stock is declining year on year.
Sometimes, a manager is just well suited to a club and its a marriage made in heaven. When that manager tries another club, such as Howe did with Burnley, it shows that he's just not quite got what it takes to manage elsewhere. When his time comes at Bournemouth, whenever that be, it'll be interesting to see where his career goes from there.
