The tories left Merseyside to rot in the 80’s and openly said they were. Boris Johnson publicly slated the city a few years back.
It was only when the Eu were involved that any money was spent on redeveloping the city to make it the great city it is today.
Give the tories a few more years and they will do their best to ruin it again

My first love in football was Leeds and Liverpool with Brenner and Lorimer, then Dslglish and Keegan and the lads of the seventies, so I respect reds...even if I am Chelsea from London living in the eighties, where Ulster boys and Scots went for work.
I get what the Tories did t bone...when I left school off was a dole queue with dad after he came back from Iraq.

It’s not just Boris and the press. Thousands of football fans sing feed the scousers every Xmas yet our fans are recognised as the biggest contributors to the food banks going. We travel the country helping places. We get called murderers by thousands of fans all the time. Always the victims is another chant which originated after hillsborough not after Suarez
