He’s got to sort the midfield out ASAP. We basically play with no midfield, especially in the attacking third. All we do is try get it wide, then end up passing it back, then round the defence, out wide again usually with a pointless long ball and end up losing it. It’s leading to all our attackers dropping way too deep to get involved
Think midfield is our biggest issue. Both defensively and attacking. We’ve kind of got a bit better defending as a team, but we are so slow and turgid when we have the ball. We create 1 or 2 decent chances a game, we’ll continue to drop regularly points unless that changes. Got to start taking the initiative and sustain an attack for more than 30 seconds
Emery is clueless. No identity to his gameplay. His days are numbered. Good thing Raul came out threatening him a few weeks back.

Think Freddie's promotion is the biggest threat to him. You can clearly see them disagreeing on the touch line.
Edu is Emery's boss. And Edu and Freddie are close as most of the invincibles were.
Emery needs to cut...these team selections are beyond a joke! He has NO philosophy. Don't be fooled.
He wasn’t appointed by this regime. Won’t be too surprised if they’re not too reluctant in replacing him if things get any worse. He’s been lucky that other teams have had problems early on, and we’re still in a decent position. If Leicester and Chelsea start to open a gap on us, I won’t be shocked if he’s sacked mid season, especially if this terrible football carries on

We don't pass or move the ball through the centre of the pitch well at all anymore, a big area where we are struggling.
