Wee Alfie.

The wee tub of lard with the winning smile, the comical first touch and the simultaneous multiple hair styles is finally winning me over.

I have no idea how he does it but he does it so I will give him credit.

I'm upping my valuation to £4-£5m.

Sat in a rugby club in Gloucester watching the rugger with about 200 English fans. Even their kids are far bigger than me.

So it’s me this week

Think this is the first season I have not watched any EPL games mate. I don't really have a favourite EPL team - Anyone but Chelsea.

I’ll nominate my young brother in law. He found a lump in one of his balls (couldn’t use the banned word!) a few weeks ago. Had to insist on getting it taken further as the doc disagreed. They found a tumour, and he had the ball removed.

He got the good news this week that his bloods are fine and his scan showed it hadn’t spread. He’s only 29, and him and his girlfriend had a wee boy in February this year.

It’s a massive relief for everyone, not least my brother in law. The next 5 years of monitoring is the smallest of prices to pay for knowing that he’s clear.

Sometimes they get it so wrong.

Ath you need to get the second half of the predictions done by 3. It's a double week so all predictions to be in at the start

Not to be overly contentious but I think using the joker on a double week is cheating by stealth
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Did you stew on this thought for 4 years then decide to raise it?

Your Joker for a single week will outscore a lot of this weeks. It's a tough set of fixtures for this double

I'm losing all faith in our gp doctors, my Dad over the course of a couple of years lost the use of his legs, multiple doctors couldn't figure out the problem, eventually told him it was all in his mind and sent him to a shrink, only after a bad fall and being rushed to hospital did he get a MRI that discovered a rare type of spinal tumor, he was at deaths door for 3 days after the surgery in a high dependency ward, even had to go through our goodbyes, he pulled through only to get sepsis and almost die again a couple of weeks later, he's doing a lot better now thankfully although his legs suffered permanent nerve damage that probably would have been prevented if it was caught earlier.

His misdiagnosis came down to them cheaping out on the type of scan he received, so I'd always advise everyone to force the issue, doctors get it wrong a lot.

Then a few weeks ago my mum found out she had a heart attack 3 years ago and no one told her

She only discovered when she was getting holiday insurance and phoned up her gp to get some info on some medication she was on.

I just thought you guys were all about openness and clarity
More an observation on human nature than a criticism of your well oiled table

Bet you've been on a few well oiled tables in your time
