I will be there my friend. I assume you're going?

At least the derby is a 7.45pm kick off. The 7.05pm kick offs for travelling fans are a killer. I thought you did well to bring a couple of hundred down to Ayr on Friday night.

Saw the first half of your game on the tv on Friday. Thought you played fairly well and deserved your lead. Didn't see the second half though.

The 2nd half was terrible. Which suited us fine. We should be better than we are though. Man for man we are far superior to every other team in the league apart from Shankland, who Shankland for Shankland are about the same as us. Where are you sitting? I am just getting my ticket now.

Glad I missed your second half then.

I'm not sure where we're sitting. My brother phoned up for the tickets this morning and they didn't tell him which seats they'd allocated him.

If he was the player I think he is then he played okay without being great. I don't think anyone in a more advanced position stood out to be honest. It was a turgid game.

The only player I really paid attention to for them was the lad Cochrane that they've got on loan from Hearts. He didn't play well and went off in the second half.

aye he plays in the no.10 position a think Kyle, he's started the season well for them

Yeah he worked hard and was probably their busiest player in the first half especially but nothing really came off for them in the final third.

A win on Wednesday give you guys a nice cushion at the top then Ivan?

Desperate for you guys to come up and one of Hamilton or Livi to fluck off, never to be seen again.

Yeah a good opportunity for us on Tuesday. Partick are obviously struggling but I think they're better away from home than they are at home.

Dundee are away at Alloa, ICT are away at QOTS (long drive on a Tuesday night ffs) and Ayr are away at Morton. Hopefully some or all drop points on the road.

Caley are a basketcase, supposedly in big trouble with money at the moment, it's been in the local papers that they only have enough to see out the season.

Fook that Inverness to Dumfries on a Tue night, -10C, sack that for an away day
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It's fecking mental man. Imagine scheduling one of the longest possible journeys in Scottish football on a Tuesday night ffs.

How’s Hazard getting on at Dundee?

Would be good to see <insert team from Dundee> back up in the premiership and get rid of <insert team with no fans and soulless stadium>
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah he looked better than our other keepers to be fair. Assured and tall as well so good for coming for crosses.

Yeah would be good to be back in the Premiership. I miss seeing some of the goals in a 6-0 defeat from an obscured view seat at Celtic Park.

Saw that. In big trouble as I can't see them getting promoted.

Not that our finances are in good shape either mind you. Wage to turnover ratio of 133%

Hopefully our American owners know what they're doing.

I meant to mention in the OP as well, the Pars fans had a banner I quite liked on Saturday.

'Fair Play Stand, Unfair Prices'

I think they make a good point to be fair to them. Prices in this country for football are far too high.

I just got my ticket for the derby. £26, plus £2 booking, plus £2 if you want them delivered. That's £30 for a Championship match and only get to see one of the goals as the pillars in the main stand obscure one of the goals.

To be fair it is one of the most entertaining fixtures out there and I'd rather pay to go to this fixture over any other, but still!

133%!

Rangers were in the high 70s and people were freaking out.

I would be seriously concerned about that unless the owners have deep pockets and the interests of the club at heart.

It is a concern, yes.

It's worth saying that a big part of that is from United investing in coaching staff to qualify for elite level in the Project Brave thing. We've invested pretty heavily in that.

But ultimately we've also invested significantly in the squad and the likes of Shankland, Reynolds and Pawlett will be on good money (some more value for money than others...)

Saturday was a dirge, but essential that we took three points. Tomorrow is equally as important. Popped into the shop after work and picked up tickets for the derby - we had originally planned to just watch it in the pub but they had some left. Main stand (because behind the goal they only had front row), but concerned because I’m 6ft4 and the seats are pretty close to the ones in front, but hey ho! Hopefully we won’t be sitting down too often!
