Never seen anyone say he’s a shocking player. He’s got ability.
He lacks in height, in a side that desperately needs some, and is a complete and utter liability.
Won’t get promoted with him at centre back.
Also not a CB, only serves to illustrate how poor our make do and mend approach to transfers has been. For the record, he was so far out of position against Preston that Ben White was unable to cover. We would have been no worse off with ten men on the pitch, so on occasion, yes he is shockingly bad.
Kiko is a quality keeper without a doubt. Think if we'd had Peacock-Farrell between the sticks on Saturday we'd have conceded at least a couple, that might just have put paid to the myth that Bera is anywhere near good enough. Mind you bringing on Cooper to compensate for Berardi's short comings also illustrates that just as well.
I don't doubt Berra's ability, he's shown many times he's capable....I question his rashness at times though

Would have a better chance of promotion with Bamford at CB and Berardi up front at the moment!
It's our lack of goals that will kill us this season.
Berardi has always been a good solid defender, he's angood tackler although he is a bit rash. He also does not seem as longer injury prone as he used to be. Its very sunday league to run out of centre backs but Berardi has benefited from it.
Forgot to add, Hudds ARE a team of giants and Fulham have Mitrovic who's deadly in the air, we need Cooper back for those 2 coming up.
Berardi is committed to the cause and plays his part in a small squad.
Berardi is undeniably rash in challenges at times. He's seemingly easily wound up too.
But he's a good squad player ….. he can and has covered across the whole of defence at times.
I'd always prefer a CB pairing of Cooper/White, but he's a good player to have around to cover those 2, especially given how small our squad supposedly is (both in numbers and stature!).
i like berardi but i prefer him in his real position. while i think he can do the job at cb its a position where when he loses his head it could be red.
i hold my hands up on kiko, he looks very good so far.

Rubbish. He played a massive part in throwing away the play offs.
Shouldn’t be in our squad even.
"Rubbish. He played a massive part in throwing away the play offs."
That is also rubbish, there was a lot of mistakes by a lot of the team that day, not just Barardi!..
Our Keeper and team Captain being one of the biggest!..
Berardi has his flaws, he isint a 1st class centre back and despite the fact centre back isint his best position Ayling and the emergence of Dallas as a quality right back means he is more of a centre back for the club then he is a right back.
Now here is the thing, we are a championship club, not a premiership one, out third choice centre back is never going to be phenomenal.
Berardi is good for what he is, a back up player who can play across the back.
He has his place in the squad, despite all his obvious flaws
Mont, Bera is a right back, however in that position both Ayling and Dallas are better and while Ayling was injured, Dallas who is a right winger was preferred. If we had cancelled his contract we wouldn't be short of options at right back. Gotts has the ability to step up to the first team and I think he is a better player already.
The only position that Bera could have a role is at centre back and if we'd recruited properly wouldn't have a role at all. He is lucky to be with us.

And Bielsa. Should have got off his high horse and played Jansson, or took his blinkers off to see Berardi getting wound up on a yellow with Jansson on the bench. Could have brought Jansson on at HT when we just needed to NOT lose the second half.
Our season was coming apart well before the sending off. That was just one part in an overall implosion, as a team.
Shaun, has Pontus never had a red in a Leeds shirt?..
Barardi or Pontus, the chance was as big with either!..
But that game was more than just Barardi, but hey, better one taking the blame than the whole team eh?.....even though there were more in the team at fault!..
Looks like he is in for a bit longer Cooper has just limped out of the U23 game.......
Bernardo has the most fantastic attitude, never say die. Like all footballers, he ain't perfect, but his effort makes up for it
Well said LST, Bera is Leeds through and through

Not rubbish at all. My opinion and one clearly shared by a number of others.
Well ain't we all glad Bielsa likes his players, I'm sure if he had anything against them they'd do a Pontus!..
His players his team, he picks who he picks and he blames himself when it doesn't work, well done that man!..

Time and time again he lets the club down. But because he puts in hard challenges and plays like a maniac, fans adore him.
He’s an average player in a good team, and he’s a complete liability.
I’ve criticised Cooper for years for being the same, however he’s actually learnt and developed as a player.
Berardi will never change. If you’re happy with players smashing into people and getting sent off, rather than good players who get you promoted then fair enough.
Hayemaker, the best players are those that give their all and play for each other, Berardi is that sort of player, and saying he isn't good enough, that's another piece where people will and do fall out!..
Oh, and my favorite sort of player is the Hunter, Bremner, Vinnie type, ones that fight for their shirt and club!..
