The slip against Chelsea awful timing and broke us, Michael Thomas goal for Arsenal need I say more ?
• Michael Thomas 89. Last minute goal and a title slipped away.
• Cantona 96. The FA cup still held some prestige and given that United were top dogs. I was desperate to win this one. But it wasn’t to be.
I was at both of these games. The cup final one I don't remember too well as I was slaughtered and me and my mate got thrown out of the directors box after Cantona scored.

I'd imagine Solskjaer's last minute winner in the 99 Fa Cup game would be a top 10 for Liverpool fans?

I literally cried after the Cantona one. FA Cup was still big back then. I was 11 years old, with the full day ahead of me, I couldn't cope so my parents took me to buy me the new Liverpool kit. Was it the one with green and white squares?
Spent the day in town, got home and there was what felt like hours of build up. The game was awful, both teams nervous and not going for the kill. Then that corner. I can't get the two defenders out of my head, think it was Jones and Scales who both did some weird attempt to block the shot on the line instead of just getting their bodies in front of it.
The whole day spent building up to it only for the game to be a complete disaster.

Besides what’s already been said, I’d add that seemingly harmless long range shot from Rooney which Dudek let through his hands late in a dire game v United.
Djimi’s comical own goal doesn’t quite qualify for this topic of worst goals imo although the result was embarrassing.
The Riise own goal was really annoying, probably cost us that semi final, entirely avoidable.

The beach ball is by far the worst, stupid goal ever.
the demba ba goal is a good shout as it was complete unnecessary and rank all round. split cbs and full backs 40 yards upfueld in 46th minute of half. Gerrard thinking about the hollywood pass.
I recall goals where really.low level teams beat us in cups like traore.
Then karius rolling ball to benzema. but then we equalized that.
I recalled a bosnich or someone conceding a goal against us where he had hacked up a dog or on the six yard line and ball hit it and bounced over him.
