Labour leave areas are big labour strongholds, so neither the Tories or Brexit Party will be turning over 15,000 majorities.
Brexit Party had a gift of a seat in Peterbrough to win early in the year, and Labour comfortably held on. If they cannot win seats like that, then they won't be taking many, if any of Labour.

Sorry mate I refuse to believe the Tories are averaging 40 per cent, when hardly anybody I know has a good word to say for them. I would like to know how, or where they poll. In 70 years I have never been asked, or know anybody that has either.
I suspect they just pick an area, usually a Tory one, and then just conduct their survey, and then you see why they get a 40 per cent vote.

Jezza was the least popular last time according to all the nonsense polls, and managed to get 40 per cent of the vote. I never go for all the nonsense about who is the most popular leader, total rubbish usually generated by the likes of Sky or the Daily Mail. Corbyn has has big a fan base as Johnson.

You only have to see the way Farage behaves in the European Parliament to see how he carries on. He is a Populist with no agenda, other than to stir the pot all the time. He has a rag bag collection of really dangerous right wing fanatics following him. Would be a disaster for this country if he was to ever get a foothold. He would make foreigners lives absolute miseries. He always makes out he is like a big cuddly uncle and the sort of fella you would to have a pint with down the local, when nothing could be further from the truth. He is an ex City Spiv, who would sell of the NHS, destroy whatever public services are still left, is certainly no friend of the working class that he purports to want the votes of.

Labour leave areas are big labour strongholds, so neither the Tories or Brexit Party will be turning over 15,000 majorities.
Brexit Party had a gift of a seat in Peterbrough to win early in the year, and Labour comfortably held on. If they cannot win seats like that, then they won't be taking many, if any of Labour.

Bearing in mind that we have a fairly broad cross section of society on JA606, the poll on here is pretty well consistent with how I see it at the moment.
What I don`t get is the Evening Standard apparently have done a poll that puts the Tories on something like 44 per cent and 20 points in front. Sorry but I just don`t believe it. Not sure where they poll, but as it is a London Newspaper, I assume they poll in London, which seems very strange, when London is also a Labour stronghold.

36- 40% according to the beeb, then there’s always a margin of error (and nobody ever asks me!
I wouldn’t worry too much about polls at the moment, the Tories were 25% ahead at the start of the last election before the Maybot embarked on the Strong & Stable robot tour!

Sorry mate I refuse to believe the Tories are averaging 40 per cent, when hardly anybody I know has a good word to say for them. I would like to know how, or where they poll. In 70 years I have never been asked, or know anybody that has either.
I suspect they just pick an area, usually a Tory one, and then just conduct their survey, and then you see why they get a 40 per cent vote.

Jezza was the least popular last time according to all the nonsense polls, and managed to get 40 per cent of the vote. I never go for all the nonsense about who is the most popular leader, total rubbish usually generated by the likes of Sky or the Daily Mail. Corbyn has has big a fan base as Johnson.
I am sure if they actually bothered to poll Corbyn supporters for a change he would come out with a very favourable rating.

This will be how the Tories conduct this election, just attack the Labour Leader. It didn`t work last time, I doubt it will this time. After all there is only so much you can keep waffling on about the 1970s. You would have to be nearly my age to even know what life was like back then. I myself thought it would a great decade anyway.
