Last season to this

Bamford-Eddie : The fact is that these 2 have rarely been on the same pitch so combined together we have 7 league goals from our one striker up top. Last season we got 24 from roofe/bamford. 7 divide by 14 x 46 gives a projected 23 goals for the season.

The real problem:

Pablo scored 12 league goals last season but only has 2

Klich scored 10 league goals last season but only has one and that was a penalty.

Jansson and cooper bagged 6 goals combined last season. So far we have 0 goals from our centre backs.

Alioski got 7 last season but he is now consistently playing deeper. His contribution of 2 so far is very welcome.

Kebab has summed it up well. We need more goals. Certainly feel we're not as good as last season, think its because we've lost the element of surprise and Bamford doesn't scare defenders as much as Roofe did.

If we don't start putting the goals away, it WILL catch up with us and we'll slip away.

Luckily we're playing the best footy in the league so far and when you consistently play well, it usually pays off.

Bamford will either start scoring, or Eddie will be get his chance for a few starts and goals will come from him. We will have to adapt to his style as a team though.

Never look at stats, let my eyes do the looking.

This time last year, was certain we,d go up.

This time, not certain we’ll get in play offs.

Feel very different this year

And only one player has scored in first half for 10 weeks, and that was going wide and could have been given has an own goal

Spot on Kebab. All this blame at Bamford...

...Its the others around him. In our style it play the attacking options of Costa Harrison and Klich should be scoring well.

That to me is a bigger issue than Bamford.

Klich is doing ok but is nowhere near his levels at this stage last season. He has dropped off

3 or 4 games in, everyone on here said we seemed much more professional this year. That feeling has diminished significantly. Under Monk, we missed out with a 30 goal striker and the league's best defence.

The xG stat is very useful though and shows that we are actually creating better opportunities to score this season. The goals aren't there at the moment but they will come if we can creating the chances and keep up with the current rate of xG.

Just explain to me what XG means pal

Izzy Brown currently back to his best for Luton, only us could sign a player with his ability and see non of it would have been unstoppable at his best in our side.

Wetherby you can blame that idiot that is Radz. Sanctioning the season long loan of a player fresh off a knee ligament Injury. Would rather him in this team to Harrison.

This season we are playing the best build up football, but once in that final 3rd, we are conference standard. Also, ppl talk about Pablo etc, that we need him, the guy as a top tier athlete is becoming shot. If CR7 can admit feeling the pace, I'm sure Pablo is and Imo should have been the one we got a replacement in the Summer for.

Statistics aside, Bamford has missed some absolute sitters, and he has missed them at crucial times when a little more composure would have got us the goals. He is paid a fortune to do one thing, and he spends most of his working hours training and refining and honing those skills. Yes, there is a lot of pressure on him to perform, but most of us experience pressure in our lives in different ways. He needs to grow a pair and do what he is paid to do. If I was him, I would write a letter of apology to the Club for pretending to be a centre-forward and donate his salary to Billy's Bar, for the medication of our long suffering supporters. That's what I call taking responsibility.

Are you perfect at your job?

Have you ever given back any part of your compensation?
