A limb tracking system would take the decision from the ref. It'd be down to the machine which would apply the same "algorithm" in every situation in every game and therefore ensure fairness.

Yeah, sounds a bit weird to me too but assuming its sound then VAR should improve with time and maybe this is how.

This would make instant offside decisions, like a linesman and the game would not be interrupted. Goals instantly disallowed like it used to be with linesmen.
