Aye defoe out of contract too.

Gerrard wants deals for him, Davis and McGregor.
They'll all be a year older but given what they've contributed this season I don't have an issue with that.

I think over the next few years we will be signing younger players with a sell on value to work with older players.
Something Celtic have schooled us in despite us having a real chance to get young players playing 100+ games

Issue we’ll have with Defoe is he might want more than a one year deal, and to be more than backup.

Also won’t have to worry about losing loan players, King may as well have stayed at Leicester. Ojo upped his game in recent weeks but we have options there.

Will still have too move on a good few. Hopefully a couple move at Jan.

Is holt at Fleetwood for the whole season?

posted on 5/11/19

Holt is at St Johnstone, Rossiter at Fleetwood.

Barjonas should have been out on loan, probably will be moved out in January. I don't think his deal lasts past the the summer.

Holt is on loan at St Johnstone for the full season.

Defoe will be offered a player coach roleπŸ‘

I agree on King, seems to have been an utterly pointless signing but who knows maybe like Davis it's just taking a few months to get up to speed and he will have more of a role going forward.

Defoe i wouldn't give more than 1 year at his age.

Definitely still a few that need moved on with longer terms. Grezda and Docherty the prime candidates.

Aye Holt was at Fleetwood last season.

There was talk of him going back there or to QPR but neither happened and he ended up in Perth.

Decent wee player at Championship level for us.

I remember Warburton talking him and Halliday up for Scotland call ups πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Has there been any noises about Flanagan staying or going?

His attitude on the pitch is fantastic, i really want to hold onto him but he needs to get back playing to earn another year.

Rangers Academy defender Lewis Mayo is now a member of Steven Gerrard’s first-team squad after Colts boss Graeme Murty confirmed that the defender had been moved to the first-team dressing room.

He and barjonas.

Have to think we'll be moving at least 3 on in January or certainly trying to.

Anyone got a better idea how the performances are going for the loan Rangers?

The McCrorie's
McPake
Middleton
Kelly
Hastie

They seem the most likely ones to make an impact in the next year or two.

Ross started well then fell out the team after being sent off.
This was after the manager saying he was the first name on the team sheet.

I think he's back in the team but playing right back now.

Hastie has scored a few at Rotherham I think.
Manager speaks well about him, says he's an old fashioned wingee which is rare

I seen Kelly scored a screamer for Ayr, looks a tidy wee player when i've seen him.

Middleton will hopefully improve with a competent manager coming in.

Barry tell us how McPake is doing if you see this...

Herrera no way can he still be at Ibrox ?!? Really ?

And Jason Holt ?! Wow ...mind when he was the Scottish iniesta ?

So he did, another year.

Must be a late developer, he's had a couple of disappointing loans so i expected him to be out the door.

Kelly has been outstanding for Ayr. He is technically very very good and works his socks off. SG is a big fan.

Middleton has been shown up as being a bit one dimensional at Hibs although the whole team has struggled. Problem with Middleton is he isn’t good enough yet as an out and out winger or an out and out striker.

McPake hasn’t had a massive impact at Dundee. Think he is coming to terms with the transition to the men’s game and adjusting to Dundee’s ‘style’ of play 😩

He's no, he's in Mexico at Nexaca being a diddy.

Still getting a few grand from us though no doubt.

Cheers Hamish

I took a shine to Kelly watching him and good to hear it's not just the one good game.

McPake still only 18 so to be expected. Hopefully him and Middleton can make more of an impact going forward once one has adjusted to men's football and the other to having a manager that knows what he's doing

There were folk saying Docherty was better than McCarthy and McArthur as well.

Boy couldn't pass aids at Michael Barrymore's gaff.
