I dunno about that mate...... Don't see sheff United getting thumped by anyone given the way they play. They are nowhere near a relegation team and their manager might sound like a northern monkey but he's no mug..... like the optimism though

I think it's going to be a hard fought game. They come to us in good form and are well organised. We also had the game midweek. Hopefully we can squeeze a result out of them, with the right team selection I should add.

Well he doesn't tend to score hat-tricks anymore so I wouldn't get your hopes up for one. Not only does he drop deeper these days but he doesn't even look as clinical as he used to.

I think anyone who has watched them at all this season will know that they just dont get thumped , a narrow win will do, but expect plenty changes again

This is a game where the pressure is really on Poch. Weds was good and now we have to build on that. We will be expected to win and are more than capable IF the attitude & the team selection is right. We are not overloaded with fixtures right now & with an intl break coming up Poch needs to get his shlt together. The team needs stability and those who play well need to keep their places. If Winks, Toby, Aurier are brought back in i'll be furious. I can understand if he replaces Moura for Son but personally don't think its the right move. Having paired them, Sanchez and Dier need to start at CB until they fail..... Its the same in CM

I have a better feeling going into this game than I have for a long time, yes they work hard and have made a good start but I fancy us to pick up a bit in the coming weeks.

However all my optimism could disappear very quickly if Eriksens name is in the starting line up.

Agreed. Have to build on this momentum. Although good, Sheff United is a team we should realistically be beating at home. 10 points behind the top 4 already, we cannot afford to drop any more points like this if we want any chance for that.

I can't believe we are still looking for 2 wins in a row so far this season. That's how bad we've been.

Whilst I totally understand people being worried the way we are playing, but are we really that bad where we are panicking about a newly promoted Sheffield United at home ? These are the games we usually bank on Spurs winning. We should be picking up 3 points and nothing less. I don’t care how good Sheffield United have started, they will be in and around midtable and below come end of season. Nothing other than 3 points is totally unacceptable, especially with how poor our points total is currently.

Oh and Pochettino has no excuse to drop the CL team midweek. We have international break so he can’t make that excuse of rotating the squad. He needs to stop tinkering with the team and play the players that want to be here and also stop playing the players who are out of form. No Eriksen , No Aurier, No winks. I want the same young vibrant team as Wednesday. Get your s*** together Poch.

They’re organized and difficult to break down. We needed a goalie mistake to grab the 3 points at their place

I can't call it. These are the sort of games you'd expect to win 3-0 at home.

However, away game in Europe midweek usually means we'll struggle at the weekend.

Even with Sheff's great defensive record so far, we should still be expecting to win, and comfortably.

Comes down to Poch's team selection

Picks the right team, we'll win 2-1, maybe 3-1.

Poch makes wholesale changes we'll draw 1-1.

United have not conceded more than 2 goals for a while now so I don't see us scoring 3 or 4 like some would hope so.

Just 3 points please. I don't care if it's 1-0 or 9-8.

I actually think we will not win tomorrow. We should but i fancy a 1-2 sheff utd.

I think tactically Sheffield United are very astute, really like watching them. Wilder will tactically outclass Poch sadly.

Will be cheering my heart out tomorrow but the players and Poch just do not look like there is any motivation in there.

Red Star result was a nonsense an anomaly as our form, tactics and motivation are woeful.

I hate being negative and saying we need a change but we are a dead duck in the water.
