Most of us are calling for Emery's head but who's to say the board ain't going to back him?

Emery is over achieving with your squad of players, be careful what you wish for

I'm not calling for his head but that's more due to fear of a management merry-go-round hitting us like it did Utd. Changing the manager after 1 and a bit seasons isn't/wouldn't be a good start, in terms of avoiding that. So I'm reluctant to sack Emery before xmas. Given our league position. He was due to go end of the season anyway so short of disaster, I see keeping him in post and not rushing a replacement choice (unless one already made) as a more favourable option.

Especially if Freddie is potential replacement. Phasing Freddie in through 2nd half of the season, with gracious exit for Emery at end. Kinda just fading Emery away slowly and more importantly, quietly. No big AFC management drama headlines. And Freddie doesn't have to start from a desperate, knee-jerk deep end. If replacement isn't Freddie or another former player. Just keep Emery and take the time to select carefully. If we don't make 4th then new manager is better of with no European football next season. That does seem to work league wonders for European comp regulars, where the team's fallen apart. Remember Chelsea running around fresh as daisies all season and smashing the PL win. Real helpful only having to play once a week when you need to sort ya team out.

No point sticking with a dud manager, which Emery clearly is.

If you're hirung and quickly firing managers without giving them a chance then that's silly.

Emery has done absolutely nothing so far to suggest he's capable of fixing our problems and has in fact made them worse (thanks to our transfer committee thing, the squad is actually far better than previous seasons as well).
