Think you'll get smoked. Doesn't help that you're without Laporte and Ederson.

Also it's never easy at Anfield but they will be right up for it too.

Hoping for a belter of a game

Predicting a City win

Really don't want VAR to spoil this one.

Seems like liverpools year with the injuries piling up for city. With ederson and laporte out this will be a struggle. Stone and fernandinho will struggle big time against their quality up top.

we've been leaking goals and aguero does well vs lovren usually, you have a good chance

We have had our fair share of injuries

Our best cenrte back this season is still inured. Our keeper has been out all season as well and has only just returned.

I don't go with this thing about injuries in the premiership. All the top clubs have squads for a reason. We all spend millions to build those squads.

I think it will be a really tight game. City will be well up for it as they need the points. If we win this game it will be hard for city to get that gap closed as we are a stronger unit this season and some of our injured players like Alisson, Gomez, Ox and Keita have come back before this mental fixture pile up we have.

If we lose it won’t be due to injuries. Unless Kyle Walker does play in goal that is.

Ederson (if true) is a proper blow for City. He is the best keeper in the world with the ball on his feet. Might be a blessing for Stones as he will be forced less to play from back.

Looking like a 3-1 to us.

Some teams spend more on squads than others so that's a pretty black and white way at looking at it

Scousers have had luck with injuries this yr massively. Think it will be their yr although going for a draw in this one.

They'll also be quick to point out City have a bigger and better squad if City win the title.

Well they did spend £150m last summer to boost there one point advantage while Klopp put faith in the "injured" Ox, Lallana and Keita to return

Exactly, that's my point. T-bone is the one saying all teams spend money on squads and can't use it as an excuse when you get load of injuries.

Not really 150, but I take your point

Anyway cba with transfer chat.

Is Salah 100% for this?

posted on 8/11/19

Salah is carrying a knock so not 100% but will play. Looks like we are hoping rest in international break will fix it.

Thought him out was a huge win for United. Forget the goals, you looked well unbalanced without him

If a team doesn't spend to build a squad then they have no excuses when they get injuries

We also spent a long time building our fitness, nutrition and medical teams which is probably why we don't use injuries as an excuse as much as other teams

Not really. None of our players shine against United. If Salah is awful so are most of our players at Old Trafford.

But with Salahs presence the game changes, defenders know he is there and they put two players on him etc which would have opened up the game for us.

It is true though. Clubs spend millions to build squads. Your club spent more than ours in the last window. Just a pity you didn't spend the money more wisely and you may be challenging

I don't disagree with that, what I do disagree with is that some teams have more spending power than others and therefore have better squads.
