No point ‘hoping’ to lose. It’s guaranteed
Klopp goes to Liverpool, states that he will deliver trophies "in 4 years", and gets everyone's backing despite ending his first season in 8th place.
Emery ends his first season a hair's breadth out of the CL positions, and the knives are already out 5 months later.
Do you honestly believe that? Really give it a rest. Liverpool were in far worse shape than us when Klopp took over and crucially he had them playing with an identity of exciting attacking football.
If the fans weren’t in complete denial about Wenger for so long we could well have got Klopp before Liverpool had the chance.
Fortunately very very few fans are in denial about Emery and the board will have no choice after the inevitable Leicester mauling

Can't even remember Liverpool's position in Klopp's first season, but I do remember I facking hated playing them - something no team in the PL can say about Arsenal now.
You're actually making the point for why Emery has to fack off by pointing out that we're even more sheite now than his first season.
I swear some people just love contrarianism for the sake of it. Are you actually trying to defend how facking garbage we look? When was the last time you enjoyed an Arsenal league game?
When will fans stop with this Liverpool and Klopp comparison
Emery is no klopo
As a football club we have some of the worse stats in the league emery.
We have gone even further back since Wenger
As for tonight's game, Vardy will probably show up both our strikers
As for MF, Maddison and. Ndidi will run over Guendouzi and Torreira

It's got nothing to do with a "mob". Emery came here with plenty of goodwill and support. It's abundantly clear now to everyone that he's not the man for the job. He got worse criticism at Valencia and he did a far better job there than at Arsenal. We're not facking Fulham. This is one of Europe's biggest, richest, most supported, most successful clubs and anyone who takes the job and its huge compensation, exposure and other perks and doesn't expect pressure and intense scrutiny and accountability is delusional.

Spot on.
Fans (of all clubs) can see when things change in a positive way even if they don't necessarily show in the results.
They can also see when things clearly aren't going to work.
Pundits are often clueless, usually because they can't give enough time to really understand all clubs - which is fair enough.

Is Holding not available? Swap him for Luiz and switch Torreira and Willock's positions and that team isn't the worst. Though I'd go for Ceballos over Willock personally. Don't think they'll lineup line that though.
Not sure who played Wed or if people got injured and I dunno. But I can't see us lining up with no Pepe, no Holding and neither Bellerin or Tierney. I just want Enery to play Torreira as the DM. That's the only way we'll not get trounced and possibly dig out a result. If he walks out and takes up a forward position, we're stuffed. If he plays DM and Guen sits deep then between the 3 mfs there's enough zip and fight to disrupt Leicester's flow. Could make it and end to end slugfest between Vardy and Auba.
Willock will be out of his depth against Leicester MF. That MF is atrocious
If Emery goes for that team I fully expect us to concede 3 or 4 minimum

Is it 3 at the back, with both Bellerin and Kolasinac playing as free wingbacks?
Or
4 men at the back, with Chambers finally getting to play as a DM?
