bringing in a top manager. Poch is one of the best we have had if not the best particular in the prem era. The problem is we as a club missed the boat a couple of seasons back and didn’t support him properly.

Like Levy is going to sort all those positions in one window?

He'll be still trying to budge Eriksen up to the last week of it, without having brought a single player in.

Whilst I don't disagree re the future, we have a big job over the next two months as well, to steady this ship. We need to secure a place in the KO stages of the UCL, and a stronger position in the league.
It strikes me that when you're in a battle, you can't afford to carry anyone and at the moment we are carrying Aurier (liability), Dele (poor work rate and too flashy) and once he gets tired Ndombele. You have to match the opponents workrate and nick some wins, which clearly we did not do yesterday. Whilst I know how many on here don't rate Winks, he will give it his all and mix it, and when he came on 2nd half yesterday we were more of a match for the industrious Sheff U midfield.
So this means we need to play all the grafters for a while - Sissoko, Foyth, Winks, LoCelso, Son and the luxury players only off the bench when we are chasing the game.

We won't sign anyone in January. I think we're pretty facked for a while now. Need a whole new defence and DM

There is only one solution, Pochettino has to go, then the new manager gets any new money.

I think Dele has shown some signs he's on the road to recovery. A goal and an assist against Everton and Belgrade, and was it an assist yesterday? At least there's a contribution there if nothing else.

Kane is becoming something of an issue too for my liking. I'm not saying we're carrying him and he plays well most weeks but he just isn't that same striker of a couple of seasons ago. Not in the box as much as he used to be and not as clinical when he is. It's starting to beg the question of whether we should bother buying a back up striker who might be happy to play second fiddle, or to just buy a main top level striker.

It took levy best part of two years to buy a couple Cms we desperately needed.

No chance he’s sorting out the rest of our problems In January

I used to blame Levy but in all honesty. Poch has signed some odd ones.

Stambouli
Davies
Fazio
Sanchez
Wimmer
Alderweireld
Aurier
Trippier
Yedlin

He also signed
Jansen
Njie
Nkoudou

ONly a handful of those players have been successes.

He probably has a less than 45% success rate with this signings and even less with his defensive signings.

That part about having to be in champions league to sign top players, does not apply to Spurs, we have been in Champions League but still dont sign top players so that will not change, a few miss fits from French league maybe

Harsh

Ndombele was sought after.
Sanchez was star of Ajax defence in the champions league before we bought him. The equivalent of De Ligt this summer.

I doubt either would have come if we were in Europa league. We would have been stuck with Wimmer and Njie.

Ok Sanchez has not really lived up to his price tag and promise still not sure if he is a Premier League defender, N'dombele too not sure he will cut it, any more

Can remember at the end of Redknapps reign he got thrown a few ruffles too Saha and the 40 year old defender from NZ, so its typical Levy

We can sign almost anybody if we pay them enough, 95% of footballers are motivated by money over playing in the CL. It`s a myth you can not attract the top talent without being in the CL. It`s all about money.

Spurs have a stadium to pay for, so don`t expect any signings in January, and if they do come, they will spend the rest of the season even injured or not up to speed.

The nonsense that Spurs without in all probability any kind of European football next season is suddenly going to attract the world`s best players is for the birds. Even Lo Celso I would expect not stay beyond May with no European football. Why would he?

Total nonsense Billy, Pochettino would have had a major say in all those signings, to say he hasn`t is ridiculous. The one thing Levy has done with Pochettino is not interfered and he will have had a say over all those signings.

Pochettino has literally said publicly that he has little to no say over transfers. Naming a list of 1st choice targets is not the same as actually getting them.
