Once again the board is totally out of touch with the fans, just as it was in Wenger's last days and at the start of the season when fan discontent forced them to panic buy Pepe.Well Josh Kroenke , I can tell you ...we are certainly NOT excited..Depressed? ...very... If you keep Emery until the summer the atmosphere will get very very toxic and Auba and Laca will be off.
I never take too much notice of these type of messages of support. They will back Emery until they don't. What can you expect them to say? We are talking to possible candidates?
Aren't these usually a bad sign for managers?

Absolutely for the obvious reason. If the board is having to come out to offer support then obviously they are worried and so it would be dereliction of duty not to be talking to alternatives.
Yeah but why would they say anything? He should be sacked today.

No, he should be sacked when we have sorted out a replacement and a plan forward. No point in panic sacking him, panic give Freddie the job as caretaker, whilst we panic hire the first big name we can get our hands on.
These are just the moments in football where clubs just panic and move too fast, make hasty choices and Bob's ya uncle, same again a year from now. “This new dude ain't made us contenders in one season, sack him too. Get...”
Before ya know it you've gone through 4-5 managers in as many years. If we're going to sack Emery then there's no need to rush, this early in the season. Got international break so take/use at least that time to proceed carefully.

Chelsea swaps managers almost every year and they are very successful in last decade, could be a good thing and could be a bad thing. Waiting and refusing to sack him could get things even worse for us. I don't want to see another game of Arsenal in charge of him.
Its clear and obvious to me. It doesnt hurt enough.

Arsenal fc are missing out on £75m-£100m a season on Champions League income. Kroenke fired Wenger because he missed out 2 seasons in a row.
It hurts the board plenty in the pocket.

I don't. But I expect the board to act responsibly and make the next appointment that will last us for the next 3 or 4 years. Not knee jerk.
Now I actually think that there 3 top managers available right now. It doesn't usually happen. I believe if we can get one of those now it will be actually easier than the summer when the usual merry go round starts.
But because they are top managers I think it will require a fair bit of negotiation. I hope the board are doing it right now.

Exactly, but even if we can't find agreement with this managers Emery needs to be sacked. I would rather have Freddie till the end of season than this.
I don't care about a long term managers, those days are gone, if it's not working get rid.
As someone said, Chelsea and Man City have sacked quickly and look how successful they are, for crying out loud even Leicester sacked Ranieri after him winning the league with them.

Managers want £10m+ a season now. How can you get rid when they fail? Its easier at mid-table clubs because they are paid less.
Whats more it depends on your player strategy. If you want to go the youth way then you have to stick with your manager. Just make sure your appointment has some history of working with young players.
