Ederson has a muscular injury, he might wake up today and feel fine and pep decides to start him, same applies to Rodri and maybe Silva.

But I doubt Pep is trying to pull a fast one on Klopp, more the media who tend to blow things around this game out of proportion.

Nervous about today. Last season Man City upped their game at Anfield and worked out our tactics. They played very deep from defence which negated our pressing. They seem to be in a decent vein of form and I think midfield will be the big battle area where we need to keep them quiet.

Different circumstances today. Pressure is more on City to get the win today, we wouldn’t be too disappointed with a draw. If City sit deep again, I suspect Klopp will just let them get on with it.

Even if they are fit, they won't be 100%. It's Laporte that's the biggest miss though (and had he been fit, I'd have played Sane today too).

Lovren versus aguero always worries me. Aguero done him time and again. Even though he git rubbish record at anfield that could easily change.

Looks like Ederson may well start. I'm undecided if Pep is playing mind games or he was trying to boost Bravo's confidence in case he had to start.

Its hard to see what he benefits from this. But in true Jose style I think peps approach to this season will be nothing like we saw in his last 3 saesons.

He obviously can see that his players dont have the hunger to match liverpool players, even the way he celebrated the southampton win tells me he knows his players arent up for the fight.

Weird thing happening with the odds as City are favourites again.Is Mo Salah injured? I mean its one thing Salah not playing against united but against City, I dont care if its anfield, city will win if that happens

Pep would rather play an unfit Rodri than Otamendi. Otamendi is done as a City player.

When you look back to the Norwich game, Norwich didnt figure out City like some people like to believe. Otamendi just gave them goals. Norwich are a rubbish team but I did feel Otamendi was unfairly blamed against wolves were Rodri and Cancelo were culpable.

if you want to play mind games the last place to do so is your keeper.

whether Ederson or bravo is in goal makes no difference to how we have to attack or defend.

I think he is. Trying everything to get an advantage, which is ok. But it just shows how liverpool has got into his head.
