Take it you didn’t read him banging on about Ben Stokes this summer?

The more that comes out about this story the more I love it!

Apparently Sterling was sat in the canteen, Joe said hello to him and Sterling gas him by the neck pulling him Dow repeatedly saying 'Still the big man?' because everyone had been taking the p!ss online.

Imagine losing your title, England spot and self respect in the space of 24 hours.

Can only go by what has been reported so far. And all that has been said is Gomez went to shake his hand and was stunned at Sterling's reaction.

What distant friends relative has told u that then 😂

it wasn't even a major clash, I don't really get it unless Sterling has gotten too big for his boots

Apparently it was to do with the ampunt of online banter and memes after Big Man made Sterling look like a borrower.

Thing is, there is actually a lot more that could go on that nobody actually knows. A lot of these players are mates, they probably have whatsapp groups in the same way everyone else in the world does. Someone may have said something that wound Sterling up. He may have seen something on social media that wound him up or that he took the wrong way. Nobody knows 100% what has happened. Gomez may have walked in and just thrown a little wink Sterlings way that has upset him. Nothing of course justifies Sterlings reaction but I find it hard to believe that absolutely nothing else happened from that 5 second pushing incident on Sunday to Gomez greeting him with England.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Apparently came up behind him and pojed hishead round

'Alright mate' and a cheeky wink is very believable.

Fact is though he's kicked off on England duty because he's so rattled. That bit is not up for debate.

Any of our Brazilian players together? I hope Fabinho is giving Ederson the ol wet willy as we type.

I once knew a guy from when I played for Northern Ireland Schoolboys and we got on really well, a nice guy. Our school played against his and I did a lighthearted kick to his ankle expecting him to turn around and laugh. He cuffed me instead. I thought better of getting involved as there were loads of people on the sidelines from his school, being it was an away match. Grabbed him by the scruff when I next saw him and he laughed it off and apologised. I let it go. All over.

It's nothing ffs. Miss one game, apologise, move on.

Milner is booed at City and he fulfilled his contract, helped them win titles. It happens.

Look at the International’s after the champions league final. Spurs & Liverpool players coming together after some of them had lost the biggest game in they’re lives.

No issues.

City lose and Raheeeeeem gets picked up like the small lad he is and he’s got his knickers in a twist.

After Pool games with Leicester there was a lot of aggravation ,not friendly at all,
Sterling takes more hits than any player around and just gets up again,if you touch a big defender with a tackle they are like goalkeepers they cry for ten minutes

Fair dos but you should be aiming for the ears. Maybe that's where Sterling went wrong.
