If Silva has only been given a one match for what some of you claim was a racist tweet then the Eight match ban which Suárez got shows what a racist Suárez was and cannot be defended anymore by the fans and the club.
Even Carragher said the club was wrong.

I agree they're different and I agree that Suarez shouldn't be labelled a racist.
However, you also would presumably accept that it's a bit rich for some Liverpool fans who have vehemently defended Suarez (in the face of some reasonably strong evidence) to now come out and strongly criticise Silva, as if they're particularly offended by his tweet?

I enjoy actually looking into these stories about people being offended by something and then people being outraged that people are offended.
One example was a Ladbible article saying that people wanted to ban Christmas etc.
So read the article, and it said "according to..." then gave a name of another website, then that website said according to another website, which eventually linked to an article which referenced a tweet saying something like "time to ban christmas as it is offensive" or some joke tweet like that.
Literally that one joke tweet started an avalanche of people being outraged thinking millions of people were offended by christmas.
I have deleted all social media and news apps because you humans are just facking stupid.
Off to live with some in an ants nest or somewhere with a less stupid species.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My favourite one was the 'they have banned calling them Easter Eggs because the word Easter is offensive' which went round a few years ago. When I went into a supermarket, they were all called Easter eggs except one brand, which was called a chocolate egg but had Easter written on the back.
People just seem to love being outraged.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Correct. They believed the context he put forward and therefore felt he should have had a shorter ban for simply the reference, according to the laws.
Some people find a comparison between two people, if they happen to be black, racist.
Therefore it is understandable if one is not offended by one situation but offended by the other, considering the differences.
Again, not that I agree.
Oh and TOOR, probably best for you not to discuss Suarez until you admit that what you claimed about Evra was wrong.
