No way do we need Mandzukic.

was good enough to kick England out of the World Cup. He's not a bad striker at all.
He'll be 34 in May. So a short term deal (6 months) might be good. But I have my doubts. Not many players have come to the PL in such an age from abroad and we're successful. The thing that's going for him though is that he is a different sort of striker than what we have. My other worry is that the Italian league my not be as strong as it once was. Smalling has been one of the best defenders there. Lazio lost to Celtic twice. The change in environment at that age may not be the best for him or us.
I didnt say he was a bad striker.
